Prices were okay, but not a lot of variety. The main thing to me is at the checkout there were reproductions of some of the most horrible signs ever made. All referring to racial segregation. That is an unfair injustice of the past. Why make reproductions of those to sell? Why? Who wants that?! I will not go back due to those horrific hateful signs.

I’ve been going to this flea market off and on for years. Unfortunately, it has been rather disappointing for quite a few of those years. In the early days, this flea market was well kept, had a nice little food vendor in the back, and even held a festival which I attended multiple years. It was honestly one of the best flea markets in the area. That has all turned for the worse. Nowadays, the inside and outside are covered in random junk/trash. Stuff is buried under stuff pushed back into more stuff. Half of the items I look at, never even have a price and therefore, I don’t attempt to buy them. The market’s employees can’t exactly help you out in most cases because the items all belong to different people. There is little they can do about prices/missing tags/negotiating. There are items seemingly stored in various spots throughout. It honestly looks more like a storage shed than a flea market. Quite a bit of the stuff hasn’t been touched in years judging by the dust layers covering lots of things and I know quite a bit of it literally hasn’t been touched. I’ve seen the same items in some of the very same spots for numerous years. Quite a bit of the items are low quality knickknacks that you could best in price by shopping at thrift stores or a retail establishment. With all of that going on, I end up coming here maybe once a year now. It only takes that one run through to re-realize how badly things have gone. I generally end up leaving with nothing in hand that I didn’t bring with aside from nostalgia for this markets long gone days.

Cool place for flea market shopping. You never know what you’ll find at these deep south flea markets, but its sure to be interesting.
