I am mexican, i go here often. The food is not as authentic as it is in mexico but it is very close. The dishes contain lots of food, many times not being able to finish everything. Margaritas are great. Kid friendly, very good service as well.

Can’t get enough of Juan’s. The food is always delicious and made to order just the way I like it. All the servers are great. We always ask for Brenda. The service is always good even when they are really busy. I try to avoid Friday nights only because I don’t like the live music.

Ok now I gave this place the benefit of the doubt but I was disappointed. i mean Even the fly that was swarming around my table wasn’t interested. when you go to a Mexican restaurant you expect flavorful meals everything from the chips(smh)to the so called queso was so bland. like they don’t believe in salt or any kind of seasoning. Queso is one of the main attractions when it comes to Mexican food for me and all I tasted was bowl fulls of heavy cream with no SALT??? i regret spending my 15 $ here.

A meal worthy of a king. The crawfish were so well presented in enchiladas. I can’t remember when I have had anything better. This is my place to eat regularly. You can’t go wrong here. Great price, food and service. CGL

My family and I went there today for lunch. The margaritas, fajitas and shredded beef enchiladas were awesome. We are definitely going back to try more things. The staff was nice. It felt like an authentic Mexican restaurant. Loved it.

I absolutely LOVE Juan Tequilas, I have been coming here since they opened, and have never had anything but awesome service and food, even my husband who complains about most all restaurants has actually agreed Juan Tequilas is good, I have tried quite a few things on the menu, my favorites are The Katys, and the crispy tacos, although I have liked everything Ive tried.

I can’t believe the negative reviews I’m seeing here. I eat at JT’s at least twice a month and have never had a bad meal OR a small portion… I struggle to finish and every bite is delicious. The margaritas are incredible and the prices are fantastic. Add in servers like Brenda and you’ve truly had an experience.

So, after visiting the Long Beach location, I was so happy to see one go up in Saucier. And its by far just a great as the one in Long Beach! It seemed to be our Friday night dinner spot for over a month and I can’t complain about anything!!! Will definitely be a place we continue to visit! They are also great to their Military and Law Enforcement which is a double plus for me!

I have dined here twice and did not like it either time. Service was slow both times and the food was not what I expect from Juan Tequila’s. Love the one in Long Beach.

3 of us had dinner there tonight, and I must say, it was excellent! And the place was packed! We all had the special, which was alittle bit of everything… grilled shrimp, cheese enchilada, rice, beans(SOGOOD), stuffed tomato with chicken, and steak… the flavor was wonderful, nothing too spicy, just great flavor. And we found the previous review puzzling. all of us thought the salsa was some of the best ever! We also order guacamole, and it was perfect. Several friends have gone there and recommenced it, so that’s why we decided to give it a try — it is now on our list of favorites!

My husband and I recently had dinner at this restaurant, and sadly it was a huge disappointment. For starters, the salsa that comes with the complimentary chips was horrible. They put so much Cilantro(Coriander) in it that it was all you could taste –gross! Cilantro is so strong tasting that many mexican restaurants avoid using it unless requested in their dishes, and in a salsa it should only be used sparingly, if at all. Not to mention many people are actually allergic to this very volatile herb. This should have been a sign for us to leave, because if a mexican restaurant can’t even get a simple salsa right, it doesn’t foretell anything good about the rest of your meal. My husband ordered Priscilla’s Combo, which is described in the menu as a plate for those with a big appetite –what a joke that is because the portions of everything were small in this place. This plate consists of one chicken, beef, cheese and shrimp enchilada. My husband said only the beef enchilada was good, and that the rest were incredibly bland with hardly any flavor. And to make matters worse, the refried beans and mexican rice were also very bland with little to no seasoning or spices. As a matter of fact, the rice looked like they just added a bit of saffron for a yellow color and that was it. no typical mexican spices at all in it. And the refried beans were so tasteless that only the cheese on top of them gave them flavor. Again. not a good sign when they can’t even put a little flavor in the rice & beans. which is a staple in mexican homes. I had the all beef fajita plate called Alambre, and was surprised to see large pieces of meat that had not been cut up and mixed with the onions, bell peppers and zucchini as stated on the menu. This meant the meat was dry since it didn’t mix with the vegetables, seasonings & oil for flavor, as all the vegetables laid on the bottom of the meat. When I cut the meat up, it was indeed dry inside to, and it just didn’t taste right since it hadn’t been cooked and seasoned in a typical fajita fashion. And my rice and beans were just as bad and the same as my husband received on his plate. To make matters worse, the amount of food you receive is small for what your paying for. I would say there was barely a large spoon of rice & beans on our plates, which is really a cheap thing to do to patrons since these are the cheapest food items to buy and make in a mexican restaurant. And our entrees were small as well. As a matter of fact, you could get the same approximate amount of food on a plate if you drive down the road to the«fast food» mexican restaurant Taco Sombrero. but for half the price. And it will taste better too. We definitely won’t be returning to this place. If you want better tasting mexican restaurant food and larger portions for your money, I would suggest either Mi Mexico or Los Tres Amigos in Gulfport. Mi Mexico’s food is more authentic in flavor, and Los Tres Amigos gives you bigger portions.
