So I just played this course with my good friend and golf partner. The greens were nice and really rolling. The tee boxes were beat up but overall the course was fun and nice. Unfortunately the golf staff were EXTREMELY unfriendly and actually made us feel unwelcome while we were putting to decide a match. We will NOT be back

Absolutely worth the commute! Unbelievable fresh pastas. The raviolis are little pillows of deliciousness. The fish is outrageously good. Perfect meal with a great wine list. The staff is so helpful and give great recommendations for wine pairings with dinner. And let’s not forget the breathtaking views! I went here for my anniversary and the ambiance exudes both elegance and romance. Truly a delight and highly recommend for a special night out!

First, I’d like to say that on May 24th we had a beautiful wedding at the Lazy Swan and their magnificent banquet facility, I’m not trying to take that away from them. The facility is beautiful. But our day was unfortunately ruined due to someone stealing money from us. The night went excellent and the ceremony on the tee was beautiful. We had a wonderful time. Towards the end of the night though, I went into my wifes bridal sweet to get the envelopes we had left in there to tip the driver. Someone had come in and stolen the money from one of the envelopes. $ 300 from my mothers wallet, $ 150 from my mother in laws wallet, $ 60 from a bridesmaid and a $ 65 coach wristlet. All of these items were taken from a room that was supposed to be locked by the wedding site coordinator Kristin. She agreed to this verbally in several meetings, but unfortunately for us nothing in the contract says that she is responsible for locking the door. She even reassured us that only she would have access to the room, yet one of the female staff members was in the room using the restroom, which is supposedly only for my wife, while no one else was in the room to supervise her. So there you have it, a service failure. I’m in the hospitality industry and a service failure is a huge deal. On the spot I would have offered to speak about it tomorrow and immediately I would have offered full reimbursement. Apparently the staff at the lazy swan is unaware that this is how you would fix something like this. They immediately became defensive and the coordinator insisted that it could not have been any of her staff as she has known them all a very long time. Unfortunately for her, one of her staff members approached us and told us that there were a few new staff members that night. So there is a lie right off the bat. My wife also gave them instructions to save the sheet cake as we had plans to donate it to a local shelter after everyone was done, and we had ordered more than enough to have an entire sheet to do this with. That was thrown out when we returned the next day with only the top left which the mother of the bride brought home. At this same time the next day we were leaving for our honeymoon to Puerto Rico and my wife called the club manager to see what could be done. Instead of offering to contact their insurance or reimburse us the amount, he offered us $ 300 dollars. He then said we could do a police investigation, but the police would need to contact everyone at our wedding. An intimidation tactic as the officer we are working with only needs to be in touch with our wedding party. For the rest of our honeymoon the manager said he would conduct a staff investigation. But he never called back and started dodging our phone calls. The police officer tried to get in touch with the owner, who is now saying that he needs to get in touch with their lawyer. The entire situation has blown up out of control just because the owner, who has no prior experience in the hospitality industry, has no idea what a service failure is and how to fix it. Kristin is another issue. She is supposedly the coordinator. But she was extremely hard to get in touch with, and extremely unorganized. Other reviews on different sites have the same thing listed so its a trend not something that just happened to us. She is unprofessional and incapable. The food as well was also an issue, as my mother informed me. The food took about 35 minutes to serve, her food was cold. To me thats unreasonable. I’m a cook. We had around 130 people at our wedding. With 4 cooks total, I put out a banquet of that size in 10 minutes flat, all plates leaving the room. This would honestly be atleast a four star review if the staff had fixed the situation. It was a wonderful party but unforunately the money is probably not going to be returned. Just be aware that this happened if you plan on using this venue.

Played here a few weeks ago. Found it to be a fun course in good condition. I would definitely play again. Was not too crowded either. Ate lunch at the bar, chicken sandwich was good, service was friendly.

This course is a lot of fun. The greens and fairways are in very good condition. Each hole is unique and requires the player to play with accuracy. Lots of elevation changes and really nice views of the mountains. After our round, we had a beer and lunch at the outdoor bar/restaurant. I had the pulled pork and it was excellent(and I am a huge fan of BBQ). All in all, the experience was a very good one and it was not difficult to get a tee time for any day of the week. The only reason I did not give the course 5 stars is because I cannot find the rating or slope anywhere to accurately update my handicap.

First the good-beautiful setup, outdoor nice bar area, overlooking a golf course. I was looking forward to a fun night-but all went downhill quickly. I felt like I was in an episode of Bar Rescue as the service was slow as can be in an empty restaurant. Although I did notice one guy at the bar drinking and having a great time all night long(This happened to be the manager, who was oblivious to the service the rest of the restaurant was experiencing). 20 minutes after we ordered we we informed an ingredient listed for the pizza was not available and spinach will be substituted for arugula. No biggie but if we were told of this when we ordered we may have changed the order, but now have been waiting and hungry so accepted the change. turns out this pizza was pretty awful. One guest ordered a burger and asked for no ketchup or mayo and 2 guests ordered fish tacos that were described to be made with baked tilapia. The burger came with a bun that had ketchup scraped off it(why bother to give a new roll once the mistake was discovered)? The fish tacos were the real interesting menu deviation. it was 1 large piece of fried fish(no clue if it was tilapia) wrapped in a large tortilla. I chose the fish tacos in an effort to be healthy but chose not to send it back since we were already there way too long. Short story– awful service, clueless manager and food was not what was described on the menu

We returned to the Lazy Swan this past Sunday evening w/two friends for dinner. The service was top notch, but once again the food was over-salted. We shared the butternut squash ravioli, which was way too salty. My mussels were nice, but the broth was too salty, as well. My sauteed spinach with garlic was tasty, but soaked in too much butter and. you guessed it… salt. So was my husband’s Beef Bourguinon over Papperdelle. Our friends liked their chicken and red snapper, but also commented on the fact that the chef has a heavy hand with the salt. Perhaps the problem was that we were the only diners in the room. Very odd, for such a cozy, good looking place. We’ll try it again, as there are not many restaurants with such great service and such a beautiful view in this area.

Great little 18 hole golf course. Fast greens that are a little hard still because they are still new. Course is a little frenetic with real mountain, then sort of mountain lay out, but very fun and pretty challenging for it’s length.
