Wenton Motel

Older motel that has been renovated. A friendly couple runs the place. I found the beds comfortable and slept soundly. Good Diner right across the street

I was a little hesitant at first bc of the price and not being from the area to know anything about it. But I called the place and the owners were really nice, I booked the room with faith, drove in from long island and arrived at 130 am and they woke to give me the key, once in the room I was surprised at how neat and clean everything was. The bathroom was small but full size shower and clean. There was even a little vanity with a well lit mirror in the room to do hair and make up. My boyfriend and I were trying to find a last minute place close to Woodstock to stay before spending the day out there. We got very lucky finding this place. Oh and not to mention it was very quiet through the night and even in the morning. Don’t judge a book by its cover. Will be returning on our next trip to Woodstock.

Very nice place. The room was fairly newly remodeled. Very Clean The staff was excellent after coming in from a long trip in the rain they offered to dry our clothes for us. Which they did This is above and beyond in my experience with a smaller motel like this. I would have given 5 stars if the room had a few more emenities i. e hairdryer, larger TV But all in all I would recommend it to a friend and would stay again

The place is totally remodeled and the rooms are large and spotless clean. Owners are very nice. Would stay here again.
A word of advice though, do NOT book this place on hotels.come. I ended up paying an additional 26.00 in add on fees. Call the motel directly.

In Saugerties, NY for a night or two, why not?
The motel is clean. It is also within walking distance for food and a pretty nice bowling alley.
Everything is really close by, the Lighthouse, Opus40, the Kiersted House.
If ever in Saugerties, NY again i would absolutely return to the Wenton Motel.
