Boston Market

Not sure what happened, whether it was local management or the brand itself, but the quality of the food and service drastically changed since I raved about them before. Slowly but surely it got worse and worse until I found out recently that it closed down. Given the quality issues, I can’t say I’m shocked about this at all but still sad that it even happened.
Boston Market in general has gone down in quality the last few years and I do not see them lasting in the region for too much longer. Not in a place like the greater Boston area, where there is just too much high quality eating establishments to choose from and lackluster products will not be tolerated.

I like some of their products but was very disappointed with the new Pulled Pork sandwich. It was served on a small torpedo roll, and had a piece of American cheese on it. It was rather tasteless, but I’ve never seen pulled pork served with a slice of cheese like that. It added nothing to the sandwich. I also said I wanted it to eat there, and they rang it up as a «to go» order so I had to unwrap it all. Pulled pork can be messy so I had wanted it served on the plate for there, but that didn’t happen. I would never order this again here.
I’ll stick with their chicken and ribs…

Well, Boston Chicken is the best… been going there for years. The mac and cheese is also just sooooo creamy, yum!

We went in there tonight. Girl tried to take our order but didn’t speak English so we had to wait for someone else. While we waited she picked up food from between the serving trays with her bare hands and threw it back into the food to be served. She didn’t wear gloves when she served us either. Place was dirty bathroom filthy

The food was delicious, but the service was horrible. Long lines and the staff moves like turtles.

Worst ribs I’ve ever tasted. Asked to eat in twice and they still packed the food to go. Sides were lousy too: hanging out under the heat lamp too long? Next time I’m in a hurry I’ll skip this place on route one and gnaw on my finger instead.

The food here is typical BM. It’s good, but not great. The reason for the 2 stars, though, is that this place shortchanges you. When I go to BM, I usually order the THREE (3) piece dark meat meal. The last two times I was shorted on the chicken. The first, I got only two pieces, and the last, only one. I’ve heard of food shrinkrays, but this is ridiculous. I’ve written to management and they have yet to respond. Won’t be back until this is corrected. VERY poor

The fuck!!! This place has went straight to shit… literally. First off the place smelled wacky when I walked in, wasn’t sure if it was from them or the bar next door, so I labored on. However; a couple that was going to sit in the corner next to me about 5 tables down moved and said it smells really bad down there… Overall I just got a awful feeling of ickiness from this place, it looks like it could use a thorough douching, not a just a table wipe and mopped floor at the end of the night. Additionally, i opted for the crazy mashed potatoes with all the fixing in them, and there was literally a crust on top, how fucking long have these been sitting out I wonder? My kids got their food and didnt complain, but we had 3 meals and the 6 extra cornbreads and it was over $ 40.00…I usually opt for this place vs fast food, but I’m pretty much down with this place, at the minimum at least this location. I got back to my local bar and was discussing this with the bartender and she indicated that, that exact location gave her food poisoning about a month ago… Sorry Boston Market, I’ve had enough… Clean up your act, and by act I mean your filthy restaurant… GROSS !!!

I’m a longtime customer of Boston Market and havealways ordered the chicken pie.
The pie that I got this time was the worst I ever had. It was filled up with potatoes and only had two peas and two carrots. The chicken meat was stringy and horrible. I couldn’t eat it.
I went and spoke to the manager and his attitude was not helpful. He basically said, «That’s too bad.»

The food is good, just like any Boston Market I’ve tasted, which is not a bad thing. I enjoyed it.

One of the better fast food options for a quick lunch or when you dont have time for dinner. I have at times found the chicken and some of the sides to be a little dry, but this depends on the turnover of items when you come in. Overall I find the variety and quality of the sides to be very good and several flavors of rotisserie chicken to be solid.

I am a fan of this place. For a good price, you can get a lot of home cooked american food and still have some left to take home when you are done. Great mashed potatoes, gravy, and greens. One criticism is that the stuffing could be better. It tasted a little like stove top. Don’t get me wrong, stove top is alright for home, but not eating out. Very good service at this place. I hear the store in Stoneham closed, so I am looking to try the one in saugus. I hear that is good.

Love Boston Market. I’ve been in a salt coma for 3 days after eating there but boy is it good. Go online and get a coupon. We got meal for 3 (which is good for 3 and still have leftovers for the next day for a few sandwiches). Macaroni and cheese (delish), creamed spinach (tastes so gold and all the benefit of spinach is taken away with the cream and cheese) and mashed potatoes (yes please!). Cornbread and a whole roasted chicken. $ 22 but with my coupon $ 18!

Not impressed…
I was dropping off a buddy from work at the dealership to pick up his car for the 10 000 time. I am not kidding that car will be brand new after a few more trips to the dealer. So here goes my review of BM. You know you are in for it when the place post a sign outside saying the it is cold inside because the heat is broke. Strike One! You order your meal and it comes up to over $ 10.00. When did BM get so expensive? Strike Two! The chicken was dry from being over cooked. Strike Three. However the sides were hot and delicious. Or I could have been experiencing frost bite and my brain was numb.
