So I’ve never been here… meant to click the ice cream place below this one on Unilocal… gave it 5 stars because I’d hate to bring them down if they are good!

Soft serve is ok. Better choices avail but handy !

The only reason this place is getting 3 stars is because the management is proactive. Here goes…
I show up last night and ask for a waffle cone with vanilla soft serve and jimmies. As much as it grates on my good sense to call them ‘jimmies’ and not ‘sprinkles’ like the rest of the world, I decide that hey, when in Rome…
«What size do you want?»
Perplexed, I check the drawings on the outside of the stand to see if there is indeed a difference in sizes of soft serve ice cream as this question has never been posed to me before. «I don’t know. What are the differences?»
«Well there is… small. Medium. And large. So which one do you want?»
And then… well Unilocalers, I will spare you the truth about how I responded because it wasn’t kind and would involve wearing out the &*^&%^% keys for all of the expletives that came forth. In the end, I had no idea what size I got, just that it was what you’d expect when you order as I did.
This afternoon, I called and spoke to the manager and asked her what the differences are and apparently it’s 4−6−8 oz. Now, don’t you think that an employee ought to have a semblance of that? Apparently they don’t. Management was really apologetic and promised to speak to her employees to make sure they’re all aware. So, perhaps you all will have better luck should you give this place a try.
For reference — the manager told me I got a small. That will be ALMOST to the top of a waffle cone. Now you know…
