Mere words cannot express the level of customer service you receive when you are at this store. They are very experienced in education and are always glad to help. They let you know about special deals they are having and any coupons that are available. This is always a plus when purchasing homeschooling products. Great place for some crafting items as well!

I am in love with Lakeshore Learning. The variety, the really cool educational toys that will fool your child into learning(if need be!) and the very decent prices. If I had children, I think I would buy 90% of their toys from this store. Hell, I wanted to buy several items for myself! The store has a great lay-out. Different sections like math and words, plus many toys out of the package so you can see how they work. The selection was huge, almost overwhelming if you had no idea what you were looking for because so many items looked so awesome. I think if I needed to buy some toys, I’d definitely need a plan before going in to make purchases or I’d spend a fortune. I wish there were more of these children’s educational stores around. Some of the items were pricier than I’d like to pay, but they’re so much more than a basic toy that I can understand the higher price. The staff was very friendly; in fact, I saw one employee giving a demonstration to a group of parents. The feel of the place was so much more than just a toy store, even more than the cool indy toy stores you see in the Boston area. If you have children, I definitely recommend visiting. If you need to buy a gift, this is a great place too. Even if you just want to browse, and like toy stores, then this is a perfect browsing store. Come inside and take a look, I guarantee that you’ll be impressed!

I love this store. I teach high school, and many of their supplies are aimed towards young children, but they still have things that are useful to me. They have lots of nice posters for classroom walls, and they’ve also got lots of great art supplies, including rolls of fadeless paper. And now that I’m a mom, I checked out their book section last night, and they’ve got tons of awesome books for kids. When I was at the register, I noticed they had this little package of magic powder that makes SNOW. Good enough for snowballs snow. Used on movie sets snow. Lasts for 4 – 6 weeks snow. I will buy this next time I’m there.

This store is great, especially for teachers. I stopped by one Saturday morning with my roommate so she could pick up a few gifts for a friend’s daughter, and even I was excited :) They have all kinds of cute educational toys and tools, for kids of all ages. Microscopes, constellation machines, puzzles, arts and crafts kits, and more. It is organized neatly and by learning category, and there were plenty of staff members on hand to help with questions. Even better, it’s in the same plaza as Starbucks and Trader Joe’s!

This is an education supply store for anyone looking to buy books, school supplies, games, music, arts and crafts for kids up to about middle school. I teach and this store has(locally)hard to find items that you would otherwise probably have to order online or through a catalogue. One of my favorite items that they sell is «Big Books,» over-sized books about 30in tall that have huge pictures that toddlers and young children really attend to better than more traditional-size books.
