Optician was arrogant. Nasty attitudes will make me shop elsewhere. There was no need to keep me waiting while she talked on the phone on personal business. I won’t be back.

Went to LensCrafters in January to order a full pair of glasses. Everything went fine except that my phone number was entered into the system wrong so after about 2 weeks(my lenses had to be ordered) i called to ask if my glasses were ready and I was told yes they were. I pick them up and I could not see properly. Turns out my prescription was wrong which was not their fault, I got the prescription elsewhere. I made an appointment with my regular eye doctor who gave me a new prescription. Following week I went back to LensCrafters with my new prescription and had them exchanged. This was on February 28th. Now 2 weeks had passed I called they tell me oh sorry only one lense came in. I was told the other lense was on its way. Hey mistakes happen so I said okay. I waited a few days and called back to check on things. This is when I started to get annoyed. The man who answered tells me oh we got one lense in today but we are waiting on the other. My response was no that is what I was told a few days ago. He tells me he would go and check, and comes back to say I was correct but the other lense never came in. I requested a call back and received on the next day. She tells me I will get the other lense over nighted. I was happy to hear that. A few days later I called back again and was told it was shipped but it was not over nighted due to some mix up. A few more days pass I call again and now was told oh I’m sorry nothing ever shipped the lab status kept showing in process but they never got the order. I said how is his possible if u kept giving me «up dates» she apologized and told me she was working on it and would have them as soon as she could. Today is 3⁄30 I finally received them took over a month to get my glasses but Nikki who is the manager there gave me a partial refund and kept apologizing. Glasses look great I can see properly but their lab needs work and should get on the same page with the store because it caused a big headache.

Similar to other customers(see hyperlink below for a review of their Natick office), I left my appointment believing that I had paid in full and received a nasty letter six months after my appointment. When I called to inquire, I found the Billing Manager to be rude and unhelpful. With all of the options out there, I’ll take my business to a place that treats its customers with a little respect.

I found myself needing new glasses and called for a same day appointment. Done. I didn’t really need help picking out a frame, I knew exactly what I wanted, so after a quick 2 minute measuring, I was submitting my insurance information and paying the difference. Not too shabby. My glasses were in fact ready in one hour. I was fitted and sent on my way in five minutes flat. You can’t beat that.

I came here for the one hour turn-around service. I left three trips and two days later finally with the new pair of glasses and sun glasses. The optometrist at the location is pretty good and i’d go back again for my next eye exam. The selection of glasses is wide and I was very happy with that aspect of my experience here. The tech that was helping me picking out frames and such was teamed up with the manager. Thank goodness for this, or else I probably would have been in the store after they kicked all the teenage hoodlums out of the mall. The bad: I come back to the mall to pick up my glasses(three hours after they were suppose to be ready) and the tech that was helping me from before greats me with: «I have good news and bad news.» Long story short, lenses weren’t probably fitting into the sunglasses the way they should have and I’ll have to come back the next day(today). Not that it’s a huge deal, at $ 4 bucks plus a gallon for gas though I would have at least appreciated a phone call before making the treck back. Oh well. Overall: Decent at best… if it wasn’t for the selection, discounts with my insurance, and quick turn-around; I probably would have gone to somewhere in the city.
