I pierced my daughter’s ears at this location 3 months ago. The girl who helped us out then was really kind and when she rang us up she sold us on the warranty package. I specifically asked if it covered lost or damaged product and she said yes. So I asked again, «even if the earring falls off?» She said yes. Three months later I went to pay them a visit again because my daughter somehow managed to remove her earring despite the fact that I had purchased $ 60 earrings that came with child resistant screw-backs. I explained the story to the girl helping me out and she shut me right up by saying«I can only re pierce her ear if you have the earring». Ok. So again I tried explaining to her that when I first got my daughter’s ears pierced that’s not what I had been told. Again, she didn’t even let me finish before she asked«do you have the receipt?» This was 3 months ago, of course I didn’t. But she knew that I was gonna say no because once I started to say no she was like«well I need the receipt and the earring in order to re pierce her ear». And that was that. I felt my blood boiling and all I really wanted to do was scream but I had my daughter with me and I didn’t want to make a scene. Now, every retail store has its own policy and I am fully aware of that. What I’m complaining about today though is the way I was treated by this 18 year old with stupid platinum blonde hair. I myself have worked in retail for a very long time and although a lot of us cringe at the thought of «the customer comes first» it is 100% true. This girl didn’t even try to show a little bit of empathy or even tried to figure out a way out to help me out. All I kept hearing from her was no no no no no no no no no. She could of easily offered to sell me a replacement earring. I would have agreed to that. I don’t know who manages this place and I’m sure this Unilocal review probably isn’t even going to be seen by management or even make a difference in that blonde idiot’s career but at least I know to never ever bring my business to this location.
