Drove here because reviews weren’t that bad. needed a special kind of shoe. Drove up. the building was still there as well as the sign. But there were posted up pages of paper on the wall talking about selling«light fixtures» and the place was completely disheveled. Just a warning to others, it is closed.

Very rude and overall unpleasant. We walked in and were greated by a woman sitting in a chair with a very rude toned«can I help you?». We explained we were looking for a large size shoe and as she looked down she said they would never have anything that big and certainly not that wide. She asked what exactally we thought we were looking for and when we explained she abruptly answered with a «you must be thinking when we had that whole back area filled, we don’t have that now and we certainly don’t have anything that big». This entire time she never even bothered to get up from the chair. We left and noticed she went running to the other side(party supplies) and started talking to the woman. As we pulled out of the parking space I caught her looking and pointing to us as she was still talking to the other woman. I am not sure what is keeping this place in business at this point, certainly not a pleasant environment.

The people who run this place are sooo rude. When I walked through the door both sales people looked at me. no greeting. I said good afternoon rather loudly and chipper… got grunts and snarls in return. I needed dyeable shoes and so did my daughter. I picked out a few styles for both of us. As we tried on our shoes the sales woman stands inbetween us to pick up papers from the box with some kind of gaget so she didnt have to bend over. Come on lady, get out of the way and let us try on the shoes. My daughter was admiring the shoes she was trying on and did some twirls and leaned on her heels. The womans said she is killing those shoes(very abruptly) I asked my daughter to stop. Then not even a minute later she says to my daughter: I have to ask you take those off… but wasnt really asking more demanding. She didnt even give her the chance to stop her twirling! She was a mean woman, who acted like her shoes were made of crystal. I and my three aunts were all going to bye shoes but because they were so rude we told them to keep their shoes and their attitudes.

My two cousins and I were looking for dye-able shoes for our other cousin’s wedding approaching this summer. First of all, the location is a bit sketchy, and the road is so full of potholes you MUST be careful as to not get a flat. But– we’re bargain hunters, and proceeded in with an open mind. Two of us met the third inside the store. The first thing she said was«the woman who works here is MEAN and SCARY!» Yikes. Anyways, we went in and began looking at shoes. Neither the scary woman(who just sat there collecting dust in a folding chair that could barely support her) nor the man behind the counter came over to assist us or offer any help. We eventually settled on a pair we could all agree on, and brought them up to the counter. We had assumed that the shoes that were out were samples meant to represent size and style only, and that they either ordered our shoes or held them in the back. This is because the samples that were out were ancient, dirty, frayed, and stretched out. Just disgusting looking. So, we asked the man to confirm if this was true and he said«No, we dye these», pointing to the offensive shoes. «This is all we got.» EW. My cousin simply said«Oh, well in that case we will go somewhere else» to which the man said«k bye.» Basically could not give a rat’s @$$ about our business or customer service. The styles were all rather outdated– either matronly, tacky, or more appropriate for prostitutes. We ended up going to DSW and getting the perfect color and not even needing to dye.

When my cousin said she needed wedding shoes, I had no idea where to go. I mentioned it to my boss & he told me he passes this place on his way to work & there’s a big sign that says«wedding shoes.» Perfect. No trips to DSW or over-priced shoe dyeing places neccessary. Anyways, we were greeted by very friendly salespeople & allowed to browse at our leisure — no pressure(so not the sort of service I’m used to with wedding related shopping). My cousin requested to try on a quite a few shoes & the saleswoman just smiled & called up to the warehouse above. Almost like magic, the shoes came down on the dumbwaiter behind us. When she found the perfect pair(for only $ 40), they asked for a swatch. Since she didn’t have one, they said that she can bring them in another time with the receipt(which they nicely taped inside the box for us), & the dyeing would only be $ 6. I have never heard of shoe dyeing being so affordable…& when all is said & done, she can have a nice pair of black shoes post-wedding.
