I have been fishing on The Salty Lady for 10 years and have always had a great time. I have met lots of great people some of have become friends. The Captain and crew are excellent, if the Captain or the crew have their poles in the water and they get hooked up they will pass their rod to a passenger that has not been so lucky I am writing this in response to Kevins previous review if you get sea sick then don’t go out in the ocean

Salty Lady is a solid, comfortable boat. The captain was experienced(50 years). We fished one spot in the morning and another uncrowded spot in the afternoon. We didn’t stop fishing until everybody caught fish. Water was smooth for most of the morning. It got sunny after lunch with some mild winds and chop kicking up. My son and I caught 80 pounds of King Salmon.

Roger, the captain, is the man(nice guy). My buddy and I each caught our first King Salmon. I’ve been on bigger, more crowded boats out of San Diego, but this particular day was less crowed and the weather was pretty nice. The smaller crowd made for a more personal experience. On the flipside, the downside, is that what was inside, came up(hence two star deduction). Damn fishing.
