Frederick and I were both involved in a property that he was going to remodel — it was to be a 6 or 7 figure project. I say this in the past tense because a legal battle that had zero to do with us cut it short and the project never came to be.
EVEN SO Frederick continued to be a joy, a mentor, a friend, and advise myself and the property manager, who was stuck with a s**t-show, far beyond the point where he even had the slightest chance of getting work through us.
Frederick never received a dime but remained, years later, accessible, kind, thoughtful and utterly professional.
I have managed several properties over the years and dealt with many a contractor; almost ALL of whom have left a bad taste in my mouth. I rarely come across someone who continues to be helpful even without the slightest hint of pay; to me that’s a testimony to the kind of amazing customer service Frederick supplies: he’s in this with his heart and soul.

The house turned out so well both the owners and I were delighted with the final outcome! Tastefully done, well thought out, nicely executed. We used Scandia Builders for a massive remodel project that included replacing an existing stairwell, a side of the house, and various other projects both on the interior and exterior of the house. Frederik is honest, straightforward and went out of his way to help us cut costs wherever possible. They worked quickly, but the quality was outstanding. I’ve heard so many complaints about other contractors, and couldn’t recommend this company more highly. They were absolutely fantastic.
