This is the place to find all your knick-knacks. Support local businesses, make Unilocal proud. Norman is brilliant, nicest man on Earth. For America’s Cup, we found more unique stuff here than the Marina Green in SF. If time allows, sit down and chat it up with Norman. He’s a wise Skipper himself, and always willing to share his wisdom. At the upcoming Sausalito Arts Festival, which takes place during Labor Day weekend, be sure to pay him a visit. He’s quite an interesting fella, one you definitely want to meet!

These guys are great! Great mix of local artists and marine things. I don’t like to shop but you can’t not look around at all the cool stuff they have in this store. Done very well. Norman and Chiga are very nice people and make your visit wonderful :)

This is a shop filled with exceptional merchandise where all things have our local Bay area flavor and origin. Tourists will love this shop as well as local residents. The shop sells high quality artwork such as photographs, ceramics and pottery, Hawaiian style shirts, captain’s caps(with great gold braiding details), books, postcards, and nautical theme antiques. Right now, they are featuring a gourmet line of olive oils called«Olive This and Olive That» made with California olive oil. And there’s also a great accompanying line of pasta. You can also get a delicious cup of Nespresso coffee here. Besides all this wonderful stuff to choose from and to buy, the shop is really cute and charming with great views of Sausalito’s main street and the harbor. Very welcoming and hospitable proprietors. What a great find!!! Go check it out!!! This is the best shop in town.

You can find all kinds of gifts and souvenirs but the best section is their art gallery that features the work of San Francisco artist Jonah Roll. He makes whales, mermaids and boats out of shaped, sanded and painted wood and found objects. Each is a unique piece of original completely hand made art. If you are in Sausalito to see or purchase art, do not miss this jewel spot. Yeah.

What a charming little place with a charming lady running the store. We stopped in cause the wife needed pain reliever for a headache. The sweet lady fixed her up with the travel pack o’ Tylenol, opened up the packet and everything. Always nice to be treated so warmly in a tourist area. 5 Star rating just because of the kind hospitality!

Lots of great stuff here for the tourist, local and marina visitor. Incredible high end clothing, nautical antiques, and snacks. This store even has a fast charging station for cell phones. As a local, I visit this store often to check out what’s new and different.

The Ship’s Store is the place to visit when visiting Sausalito. On 100 Bay Street(directly on the bay near the tour buses). First its the only place you can buy a ticket to either ride on a really cool classic schooner on the San Francisco Bay or splurge and get a special romantic overnite 24 hour luxury tour on a amazing catamaran. While you there you will be amazed by the authentic local sausalito art work, and nautical antiques. Seriously old ships wheels, anchors, brass bells, glass floats, even mermaids. If you are tired of all the silly plastic things you usually find made in china, drop into the Ship’s Store, and you are guaranteed to find something to bring home or that unusual gift. They also are one of the only places around you can get real America’s Cup T-shirts and souvenirs. Also if you need an inexpensive snack, and can’t deal with the high prices of downtown, they have it all. Everything from drinks to ice cream, to chips, and all the basics to make your own picnic.
