I have been to Sharpiro’s in Sautee many times as my family lives nearby and when I visit we always make a stop in to see what items might be «needed»(ha ha). What I really love about this store is the producers of the items are artists and they are not mass producers of cheaply made goods that you can find almost anywhere in some chain store. I appreciate shopping locally and supporting artists who are creating one-of-a-kind(or thereabouts) goods or are creating things that are beautiful and functional. The shop is very cute. Nicely decorated and not stuffed to the gills so you cannot move around. The store keepers are knowledgeable on the artists and/or their crafts for sale and very pleasant to chat with. The prices are good for the value of the items being sold. That being said there are lots of things I would love to purchase but my personal finances are such that I need to be careful about what I can and cannot afford, but the store does sell items that vary in price. So from moderate to expensive items depending on the material used and the time taken in making the item. I think it is very fair since I live with an artist and can tell how long it takes to design and make certain art pieces. I always visit Sharpiro’s when I come to town and really appreciate having them as one of the few places that I enjoy spending my time and money shopping at. Well worth the visit!!!
