I haven’t been in a Best Buy in quite awhile due to the fact that I can get almost any item the carry at other stores or online for the same price or cheaper. Overall, it is a very nice looking store, and a they have a huge selection. However, the staff is not very knowledgable, and don’t seem to want to be there. My biggest complaint however and the reason for this negative review is their price match policy. Bottom line, I found an item they carry on 3 separate websites, one of which is listed specifically in there price match terms on their website for $ 120 less, and they refused to honor it.(Model # matched exactly) So I bought the item online, and even with 2 day shipping saved $ 100 dollars. I won’t return for awhile, if at all.

Don’t bother asking for help from anyone. Some asshole with a neck-beard is going to cut you off mid-sentence and give you sass when they start to feel inferior… «I don’t know what that cable is you must be wrong».

Excellent Customer Service and Buying Experience! I walked in, was greeted, went to the section I desired, looked, was asked if I needed help, I used the helped & made my purchase! Compared to a store I visited just 10 minutes before going into Best Buy it was wonderful!!! Don’t waste your time going anywhere else! Time is money!

I have a strong dislike for this place simply based on their customer service. If you can find what you need on your own or if you’re not making a return you’ll be fine. If you need a little or if you have to make a return, get ready cause it may be awhile. I only waited an HOUR and before you ask nope I was the second person in a line of two. I had to end up calling their District manager who was awesome because the experience was so horrible. Now I only come here to buy hard copies of movies instead of buying them on iTunes.

I’ve never been treated kindly at a Best Buy but upon bringing my computer to this location for repairs, I was unpleasantly surprised. My MBP13″ Retina had gotten liquid damage, and with no Apple store around and time as the essence, I brought it in to the Geek Squad here. The guy who checked my device in was wildly inappropriate with me, I would say borderline sexual harassment, but whatever, he’ll get his own review with the managers there. As for the repairs? The computer took 4 days to ship out — just sat there — and when it got to the service center, sat there for 4 more days before I got a call saying it had arrived that day. When I called the woman on her lie, she seemed flustered, but promised to get my computer looked at that day. Next morning I got a quote for 2500. Considering the computer cost 1600 new, I had them ship it back, footed the non refundable deposits they demanded, took it to the actual Apple B&M store in Charleston, and it was repaired fully for less than 700 — with a 4 day turnaround time, as opposed to the 8 days it took to even get a diagnosis from BB. I don’t know if BB just wanted to shock me into buying a new computer from them, but the awful service on the back end paired with the abhorrent, creepy service on the front end — take your laptop somewhere else for repairs, and buy anything else on Amazon. Don’t support this place, PLEASE.

This review is for my experience with car audio installation. Adrian in the back did an outstanding job installing a new stereo for me. I had a couple questions and he took the time to explain everything about the installation to me. I definitely felt like I was in the hands of an expert. A true gentleman and a bad ass! Will definitely be sending people here in the future.

The worst customer service ever and if you expect to find some help with a particular part of item, bring a flair gun. The employees think they are so well informed(mainly the young guys) but in reality are rude, ill informed and just not interested. I was lied to during my initial phone call to the local store regarding a bad NIC card on a 4 month old Compaq. I was told that my laptop will be looked at on premises by a group of technicians. When I got there they told me I had to deal with Compaq directly and it just got worse from there. I spoke to the manager about the service and he was aloof at best, stating«we rarely get complaints» Well: 1. I don’t believe that at all. 2. Your not supposed to get complaints, its the easiest job in electronic sales. Definitely purchase through the internet, if you can.

Best Buy can be hit or miss with me but my experience here tonight was definitely a hit. My laptop died and since I live 25 hours a day on line, I desperately needed a new one. I went there with the family around 6 and had to deal with the geek squad for a trade in. I don’t have a problem with Geek Squad but my gosh I was in line for over 30 mins!(-1 star) They need to get more people working in the front that know how to handle a trade in because apparently its just one guy. When it was finally my time, I handed over my old laptop and got a gift card that let me buy a slightly upscale model. There was a bit more involved but you get the general idea. Next I basically ran over to wear my husband had scouted out what type of laptop I wanted. Then I had to find someone to help me. That was the other downside, when the people that work there advert their eyes to act like they don’t see you, there is a slight problem(–1 star). Finally a guy stopped and asked if I needed help. His name was Matt and he was absolutely awesome. He helped me pick out a laptop and a new bag since it wouldn’t fit my old one. When he told me the laptop had to stay to get stuff deleted off of it and I told him I needed to walk out with one tonight, he helped me pick out another one. Very friendly, knew his stuff and didn’t mind my ramblings about blogging, social networking and memory space. So even though I gave this 3 stars, I was pretty pleased with them over all.

I am pretty sure that Best Buy is an evil empire. The people working here may as well be Stormtroopers. That being said, this is a nice one. The staff is super helpful. Returns here are not a bother and if you forget something at the store they don’t screw you over. I am not a box store fan but I must say the quality of the items here far exceeds the low end items they sell over at H. H. Gregg and the staff here is way more informed about the products they offer. The worst thing here is the wait to get out of the store, that is just awful. Overall I am happy shopping here.

Worst service ever! I went to buy a MacBook pro laptop and the software I wanted was out of stock. They told me they could order it for $ 20 shipping. They acted like it was my fault they didn’t have it. Def lost a $ 1800 sale for $ 20 extra shipping charge! Rude!!!

This place has come a long way from the service that they use to provide. I can recall going in, knowing what I’m looking for, but good luck finding a sales person to help you. Especially if the product you want is under lock and key. In about the last 2 years(foggy memory here. around the time of the last store remodel) the service has excelled here. I was in and out of here in no time. They have also made some of the merchandise available without getting someone to open a display case. Some products are a little over priced, but if you can’t wait for delivery it’s not a bad price to pay.(and they do price match competitors) Also, use the display computers to check their own online price. I have gotten them to match their online price before to save a few bucks.

Like the previous reviewer said, this is just Best Buy. It is a great place to check out the newest stuff before you buy it cheaper online somewhere. Best buy doesn’t match any online prices so you are usually better off buying from amazon or looking at a deals website like slickdeals dot net. If you absolutely need to buy that 55 inch led tv today and want to buy a warranty that is worth nothing more than the paper it is printed on, this is your place.

Yep it’s Best Buy. I have frequented this place way to many times depositing my $$$ here. Great variety and good service. Clean bathroom. Parking lot isn’t all that, but it’s location is pretty central for Savannah.
