Since Blades of Grass decided to «unfriend» me on Facebook due to a BAD review of their services, I am reposting the review on Unilocal.The review below was posted to Blades of Grass page with a 1 star rating. I can only guess this company does not like criticism of their services. A review is the opinion of the writer and if you solicit reviews, you should take that criticism under advisement and wonder why you received that review in the first place. You all can tell from the review why this company doesn’t want to correct their blunder (I have complained four years to no avail). Please share!!!
– I was impressed at first but lost confidence in the service. I had shrubs, etc. planted and complained when they were initially planted. The plants Blades of Grass purchased and planted appeared subpar. Four years later, the shrubs look like Charlie Brown trees. There has been no growth in four years and the shrubs are not even planted fully in the ground. Complaints were shrugged off and after four years off complaining with no attempt by Blades of Grass to rectify the situation (I still employed them to do my lawn), I finally fired them.

If you’re military and/​or you’re gone a lot and want a good deal and pictures to back up what you’re paying for, then I’d suggest Blades of Grass. See below:
I’m gone a lot and in the last two years I’ve let my lawn pretty much completely die. I wanted someone to plant new seed, make sure it grew and kept my place looking nice. I’m not the easiest client for a lawn care person, because I didn’t really have much of a lawn, just dirt, which is great for practicing dust landings in my Blackhawk.
I picked up the phone and Blades of Grass (Johny and his crew) showed up the next day on time, took pictures of my horrible excuse for a lawn and talked through his vision for my grounds. I had a professional quote in my email the following day. The back lawn was a dust bowl, but now it looks great. If I’m out of town, Johny sends me pictures to keep me reassured that my grounds are in order. My place looks respectable now. I don’t feel overcharged. I pay basically 45 bucks per visit and my place seriously looks good now.

Johny and his team are top notch! They are my go to guys during the spring and summer for regular maintenance of my lawn, and when I need the occasional touch up throughout the rest of the year all it takes is a simple email or phone call and they’re out there within a day or two. By far the best all around lawn service when it comes to price, professionalism, and awesome attention to detail. I highly recommend signing up for the weekly service. It’s so much cheaper and paying by PayPal is super easy if you choose to. Thanks Johny!!!

the owner came out and took care of my lawn while husband was out of town. even though he knew that i would most likely be a one time only client, (my husband usually mows&hedges) — he did an excellent job! i would reccomend his services to anyone. i also like the fact that he is retired military. its nice to give business to our vets!
