This is the only gay club in Savannah to drop-it-like-it’s-hot so you have no option than to cum here. BUT, I’m sure if the ridiculous front door fee is lifted more people would cum to this ratchet place.

So I was very cautious about coming here after reading some of the scathing reviews, but I’m glad I did. I don’t know what happened to those who wrote bad reviews, but my experience here was not bad at all. Savannah’s only gay club is pretty well located, near the river and within walking distance to the other gay bar, Chuck’s. We went here on a Friday night, and it was completely DEAD. The drag shows at 10:30 and 12:30 seem to be the biggest draw. Friday night’s 12:30 show was maybe halfway filled, and the majority of the guests were straight females for a bachelorette party. After the show, everyone is funneled downstairs to the 2nd main dance floor. It’s nothing special, and the lack of a crowd did not help. The first floor is a nice divey bar set up with video games and pool tables. Our bartender was very nice, I believe her name was Dawn. We went again the following night, a Saturday, and thankfully there were more people. The drag show at 12:30 was filled to capacity. It is pretty enjoyable, and I don’t really go for that stuff. After being funneled downstairs again, the crowd seemed to thin out. The majority of people here were once again straight females for a bachelorette party. Plenty of WGWs to be found. Overall, being Savannah’s only gay club, it wasn’t terrible. For a small town, I guess I shouldn’t have expected too much. I don’t really know how they are able to stay in business with such a lack of a crowd on Friday and Saturday nights. I know the first Saturday of every month features the famous Lady Chablis, so perhaps that weekend is the best weekend to come here. I do hear they charge high dollar for that weekend, so proceed with caution. We paid 10 $ to get in Friday night, and 12 $ on Saturday night. Thankfully the drinks were not outrageously priced. Around 10 – 11 $ to two well drinks. Nothing compared to some prices I’ve seen in Miami. So I would recommend coming here if you are looking for the local gay spot. There isn’t much of a crowd so don’t expect to have a crazy time unless you like straight white girls dancing awkwardly. But I didn’t have any issues with staff or bartenders, like some people here seemed to have had.

I’m a fan of The Lady Chablis, so Club One gets my thumbs up just for having a show featured around the doll. I can’t really comment on the club itself as a dance bar, but I can say it’s a really fun, albeit LOUD show, with the best part being The Lady Chablis. We enjoyed«Chi Chi’s» performance as well. We ordered our tickets for the show in advance, and picked them up on arrival, so we didn’t have to worry about any«cash only» situation at check in. It was kind of a surprise to arrive and see mainly older women there for the show, as well as an older woman checking everyone in. With that being said though, it’s not really a show for anyone too uptight about anything, especially when it comes to language, since the doll is incredibly free-spirited in every which way imaginable. Club One itself is a dark, cave of a place, with a lot of purplish hues throughout the building. Everything feels kind of cramped as you climb the stairs leading up in to the showroom, and if you have seen«Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil», you have basically seen the stage set up and seating area, complete with stage lighting, spotlights and strobe lighting. While you wait for the show there is disco music playing, which kind of lends itself to this being a bit of an homage to the«good old days» for The Lady Chablis. The doll puts on a great show, and I have to say, a really classy one despite the language. The other featured cabaret performers were energetic and fun to watch, but the music was sometimes over the top loud. We liked the show, but it just seemed kind of sad to see the performers come off the stage for dollar bill tips for their performances. Come on, it’s a paid performance, and a fun one, but it’s not a strip bar. Keep it classy ladies. All in all it’s a fun show, and like I mentioned, The Lady Chablis is funny, classy in a cool way, and surprisingly energetic despite being seated for most of the show. Chi Chi was one of our favorites as well, because when lip-syncing to the songs, «she» really emotes in an extremely theatrical and energetic manner. She definitely gave it her all. They all did, but there was just something special about her. I’m not sure we would go to the show again, unless it’s changed up on occasion with different songs, dancers, etc. Seeing The Lady Chablis is a «must» though if you are a fan of the movie«Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil.», and the doll definitely doesn’t disappoint.
