Just passing thru Saturday around the dinner hour and found this tucked away little gem. Ordered a pizza with extra sauce and extra cheese — — DELICIOUS! I love a good drippy cheese pie-expectations met. The thing that ruined this fond pizza memory was the La Quinta I stayed in just down the road-dirty and dated. Next time traveling 95 … I will stop for pizza!

I like to stop here after school with my son sometimes to grab a slice to hold us over until dinner. The pizza is o. k, nothing special but convenient and fairly cheap. Slice of cheese is 2.25. But today I asked for a cup of ice water. They charged me the 1.99 they charge for a fountain drink. They didn’t even give me a heads up about it. I could have gotten a bottled water there for 1.49. Or one of their bottled drinks for 1.59. 1.99 for water??? That’s crazy. I guess we won’t be going back here anytime soon.

I ate Costanzos for the first time last week. A friend and I dined in for lunch. Prices were great and my salad, pizza and breadsticks were all really really good. I love that you can order by the slice. I enjoyed it so much I talked my husband into ordering from there again this weekend. I docked a star because when I was there with my friend there was only ONE employee working during lunch hour and he was sooo grumpy. I think he was having a bad day because I saw him smoking outside with a friend on the verge of tears which made me feel sad BUT you can’t take it out on your paying customers. Luckily their food made up for it and we will eat there again.

Pizza and wings were great. 18 inch and 10 wings perfect for two adults and two kids. Reminded us of NYC.

The others who dined here and had a pleasurable experience, I envy them. Not only was the pizza terrible(further detail below), but when I called to complain, the manager Courtney was extremely rude. She did not value me as a customer or my desire to return. Perhaps because she is not the owner, she had a disinterest in customer service and loyalty, but in my opinion that should be important to everyone from top to bottom. When I expressed my displeasure in the pizza, hoping she would at least suggest another redeeming quality or menu item that would encourage me to return, she said they have plenty of other good reviews, said a disingenuous«have a blessed day», then hung up. So of course I am now sharing my poor experience. If you have the misfortune of addressing an issue with Courtney, beware. I did call back to seek contact with the owner. However, I have to rely on her to forward my information to him, because she refused to give me any form of contact. So who knows if that message will actually be delivered. Back to the pizza, I will upload a picture as well. The crust is chewy as others described(too chewy) but the real problem is how overcooked the toppings are. My red peppers were literally black. My banana peppers were comparable to chewing balled up pieces of paper. My cheese was solid for some reason. When you bite it the entire layer comes offs. When I first got the pizza, to give it a fair chance I tried to put it in the microwave to melt it, it would not budge. The picture attached is of the«fresh» pizza I tried to microwave. Sadly, I got an extra large and have been trying to force myself to eat the pizza for the past couple days(since I’ve already paid for it) but I just can’t. There is an almost-whole pizza in here worth $ 17 uneaten and wasted. If you want to take a gamble on Costanzo’s, go for it. Maybe you will have the good fortune of the«more relevant» reviews posted. OR you will be treated poorly and suffer through mediocre pizza, like myself.

I love love love this pizza. It’s perfectly huge and thin so you can fold it in half like New Jersey style pizza should be. It’s a little more expensive than typical chain restaurants, but it’s well worth it, and the portions are pretty big. The toppings are really fresh. I definitely recommend.

DELISH! A great pizza with a flavorful sauce, hand tossed and stretched thin crust and a variety of fresh toppings! The monthly special pizza is something to be tried for sure. Had the«extreme veggie» and was not disappointed. A small pizza is 16 inches! The garlic breadsticks are yummy. If you like Jersey style thin crust, hand crafted pizza — this is THEPLACE in Savannah!

If you love huge… Hot. Melty And fresh… Go here. However… This is not papa j or Pizza Hut. They may take longer but it’s 100% worth it. Stop by for a Huge single slice for you or a big calzone(it was enough for dinner and lunch the next day!) I love the thin, but soft crust… And the sauce. Like I said the cheese is melty like in the commercial when they pull the slices apart :) I’ve been here multiple times. The owners are lovely local family people. I’m all for supporting local business. Especially when the food is this great!

My boyfriend’s last name is Costanzo(and he’s from the north east) so we had to try it — and we were not disappointed! Delicious, made right in front of us, and ready in great time. We’ve found our go-to pizza place when we want something good to take home with a movie! Only wish there were more types of pizza and more topping choices. Also would love if they served garlic knots!

The bread«sticks» were more like bread loaves. I was shocked when she brought out the bread sticks on a huge pizza pan. There were 5 sticks that were about 8″ long and 1.5″ wide and two more about half that size. At $ 3 these were an incredible bargain. The taste was excellent and they were piping hot. A few complaints, though:(1) the bread sticks came out literally two minutes before the pizza. These were appetizers. I don’t want to get my appetizer at the same time as the entrée. That’s just poor time management on the cook’s part.(2) There was nowhere near enough sauce for that much bread. That was solved easily enough but I can’t see how anyone would think that was enough sauce to begin with.(3) The biggest complaint, though, has to be the use of plastic knives and forks and paper plates. I get that it cuts down on cleaning costs but cutting the bread and pizza with plastic utensils was impossible. In fairness, they are not the only pizza place doing that these days. That cheapness is really annoying no matter who does it. The pizza was really good. We had double pepperoni and didn’t feel cheated on the amount of pepperoni. Like the bread, it was piping hot. Because of the plastic fork and knife, I was relegated to cutting the pizza with the side of the spatula that came with it. Thankfully, the spatula was thin and metal but it was still hard to cut with. Before you purists get onto me for cutting pizza instead of picking it up, I had two good reasons for needing to cut the pizza. First, my son could not pick it up because it was too hot and second, it was too thin and floppy to pick up(even using the folding method which I hate because all I taste is crust when I do that.) In fairness, picking it up got a lot easier as it cooled down. I would have much preferred the crust to be crispy if its going to be that thin. It was also a little tough, although not badly so. There was no choice of unsweet tea which I did not like. All in all, I would not hesitate to eat here again, although I will try others in the area before coming back. I wish Unilocal would allow ½ stars because I would have given this place 3.5 stars, not 4.

Courtney is Costanzo’s pizza. The pizza is the best in my opinion because I like thin pizza. COURTNEY made sure we were happy, and we sure were! Thank you. Stuart and Cookie

My husband took one bite and said, «Ok, that’s it. This is our new pizza place.» The pizza is cheap and delicious, the store was really clean, and they had my order ready promptly. I like that they sell slices — a great, inexpensive lunch. It’s great to find good NY style pizza just down the road from us! We’ll definitely be back. The garlic breadsticks and garlic sauce were both unusually good — definitely a cut above anything I’ve had from another pizza place, and way better than what comes from national chains.

I’m SEVERELY disappointed. I love this place, my husband and I order here all the time. But on 9÷4÷14 my husband and I ordered a XXL sausage picked it up got home. The pizza was not cut and there was a hole in it clearly filled with cheese. I am really annoyed by the lack of care shown by this business.

Okay, this is more of a thin crust floppy kind of pizza. It wasn’t bad, and if in a pinch or if it was close by I might try it one more time. The sauce was good and it had pretty good flavor. I don’t think I would insist we order from them, but would not turn my nose up either.

If you love«New York» pizza then this is the spot for you. I’m from Chicago our Pizza is better but I’ll settle for this New York /New Jersey style slice any day. What’s better is that it is only 5 minutes away, and is fairly priced.

Amazing! My wife and I went here tonight(7−3−14) because I really felt like a good ol’ fashioned slice of pepperoni. We walked in the door and were greeted by several really friendly employees. I just wanted a couple of slices, but decided to grab a Stromboli and a slice. Grabbed the pizza first and it was super fresh, great tasting, great crust, just what I wanted. Then the Stromboli came out and it was huge. I was going to take half home, but decided I’d just eat the whole thing because it was that good. I really can’t wait to go back. Next time I’m getting a Hawaiian pizza! The manager or owner was there and he was exceptional. The young delivery guy was also very friendly. We’ll definitely return sooner than later. Thanks!

Some of the best Northeast(NY/NJ) style pizza we have found recently! The 1 topping large 9.99 special is great, and the pizza of the month special is also cost effective. It can get pricey if you start adding toppings, but this is our new go-to pizza joint.
