I’ve been going to a gym since I was in college but I don’t have a body that is naturally athletic, have a rotator cuff/neck issue and I’m much older than most here. However, I’m tired of just going to gym and being bored so I thought I’d give this place a try and it’s been a great fit! The coaches are attentive and supportive and encourage everyone to be supportive and cheer each other on. And even when I have to travel for weeks, they are supportive and give me a travel workout. Yeah Team Crossfit Hyperformance!

It’s not CrossFit unless it’s CrossFit Hyperformance. All others are second best at best. Hyperformance has the best coaches, the best box, the best workouts, the best community, the best — I can go on and on. I have been a member for two years after floundering about in the gym world. CrossFit Hyperformance and I clicked immediately. Over these two years, I have lost 45 pounds and KEPTTHEMOFF, I have become stronger, more flexible, and healthier than I have been in decades. And I may be one of the oldest members at CFHP. And made to feel very much at home. I really don’t mind working out with younger people so it works out just fine. Just remember when looking for CrossFit, look for CrossFit Hyperformance.

This place is fantastic. I have tried the traditional gym thing, but I dislike all the upfront fees and I find the usual gym atmosphere boring. Crossfit is never boring. I started by going to the free Saturday class for about eight weeks, amazingly I am already in better shape than after working out in a traditional gym for two years. The instructors are very helpful, even for wusses like me. The Saturday classes start with a heavy warm up session(say twenty minutes) followed by a twenty minute workout. The weekday classes are a little more strenuous, with a longer workout. Either way, the instructors scale the workouts to your experience level, and encourage you whether you are lifting an empty bar or twice you body weight. Or you are like me, and can’t jump rope… Seriously try it, I promise. You will be amazed by the results.
