It’s rare that I give one star, but wow… I can’t believe what this place just served me! I ordered two chile rellenos which is supposed to be two whole chilis stuffed with cheese and other yummy stuff! What I got was litterally two slices, not even equal to a quarter of one chili floating in some white cheese. Any other restaurant would have charged $ 2.50 each, so I expected a total of about $ 5 – 6. They charged me $ 10 for this atrocity! I would have normally returned it, but it was a to-​go order and I didn’t open it up until I was already back at work. I reluctantly ate the two slices of chili because I was starving, but threw it all up only about 20 minutes later. No wonder this place is always empty!

I arrived in town on a Sunday night when only fast food places were open, but luckily I passed here on my way in. I circled back and had a surprisingly good meal. The atmosphere is definitely no frills, but my food made up for it. I asked my waitress what was good, and she suggested Pollo Fundido. Great choice! The flavors were authentic Mexican, not Tex Mex or bland. I also was pleasantly surprised to find that I could get beer on Sunday, and they even had two selections on draft.
