Beautiful interior fabulous food. Appears very elegant but not overly expensive. If you go with specials and waiters suggestions you will spend too much. Look at the menu. Very nice selections. Sushi is some of the best I have every had we had that as an appetizer. I had the 3 flavored crispy chicken and my husband had the crispy sea bass both were phenomenal we also had dessert. Some wonderful pecan pie ice cream concoction with a liqueur topping. Oh so good. I will come back here whenever I am in Savannah. Entrees are typically $ 15 but is a nice portion and beautifully plated with orchids as garnish

On December 16th, 2015 myself and another guest chose to enjoy my 42nd birthday dinner at Ele’ restaurant located on the outskirts of Savannah, Georgia. The time was around 7pm. When we arrived at the restaurant the outside was festively decorated with santa, reindeer, Christmas lights, and poinsettias. As we parked the car, we could hear delightful Christmas music playing on the speakers located outside of the restaurant. We were greeted by a cheery host who opened the door to the establishment for us and asked if we were celebrating a special occasion. We were immediately acknowledged by the host and seated in a comfortable and cozy spot. Our waiter was present as soon as we sat down and offered us a glass of wine. After being told it was my birthday, the waiter suggested a Merlot red wine and a meal choice. He went over the entire menu with suggestions and recommendations. I chose an appetizer and my date chose a soup. Our drinks arrived as did a glass of water from each of us. The server presented me with a StarBucks giftcard in honor of my birthday. When our food arrived it was delicious, hot and tasty. I ordered the she crab soup which was the best I have ever tasted in my entire life. My date had the sampler which included spring rolls, dumplings, crab ragoon, and a lettuce wedge. Each menu item was presented beautifully and the taste was explicit. For dinner my date chose the lasagna and lobster ravioli which came with garlic bread. It was piping hot and presented on a festive holiday plate with kale. The ravioli’s taste was like none other and the bread simply melted in your mouth. The food and the appetizers filled us to capacity so we opted not to indulge in dessert. Our visit to Ele’ was no other than divine. From the ambiance of the restaurant to the perfect customer service, we were treated like royalty. The staff are to be commended because they made me feel more than important on my birthday. On a side note, I had to visit the restroom and I was totally impressed with the décor. Job well done and the food is simply marvelous.

Celebrated my birthday here last weekend. Marlin greeted us as we walked in and his service and personality was fun, professional and welcoming. Mark took care of our table once we were seated and the service was top notch and food was wonderful. A big thank you to these two guys(Marlin and Mark) and the rest of the staff for a FABULOUS evening. We all had a great time!

With a group of 30, it’s obviously hard to find a place for all of us to eat a sit-down dinner but Ele came through! They placed us in their wine cellar with sound-proof padding, our own personal music and closed the doors. With the drinks flowing, we had a great time. The food was impeccable and their service was great despite our large number. Highly recommend the calamari as an appetizer and the seared scallops with Chilean sea bass for an entrée. Beautiful food in a beautiful setting.

Spicy tuna sashimi, coconut soup, fried oysters, fried shrimp, sea bass w/scallops. Everything was very good, the fry batter was a little thick for our taste, I will definately do the sashami again, over & over. Can’t wait to check out their happy hour ½ off appi’s Wed/Th/Fri 5 – 7

Love this place! Consistently great food and one of my favorite sushi places. 4 stars only because it is a bit pricy for the basic dishes, but the attention to detail and quality of the food is great. I’ve never had anything bad here!

The décor and style of the restaurant had my wife and I very excited when we first arrived. This restaurant stands apart from other savannah restaurants in terms of ambiance. However, it pretty much stopped there. We had reservations at 6:45 on a Saturday. We were seated and waited about 10 mins before a drink order was taken. Then we ordered the lobster spring rolls as an appetizer. After a while of expecting that appetizer we were told that they didn’t have that, so we placed a new appetizer order. It was an hour and a half before we received our entrees. Our server kept telling us that they were«slammed» and yet there were plenty of open tables, and I’m sorry but if I’m paying $ 20 – 30 for an entrée then you’d think they would have a Saturday night figured out, especially if it was still early. We even called ahead to make reservations and specifically asked to make a reservation before the dinner rush. When we did finally get our dinner my stuffed mahi-mahi was barely warm. The bed of vegetables it was served on were room temperature at best. I felt as though I had to eat my food quickly and the vegetables were completely cold halfway through eating. We asked for the check before our plates were taken and the server still forgot to provide a pen to sign for the check. Just disappointing. The only reason why this review doesn’t get a 1 star is because the building was decorated well and I would like to think that maybe on an extremely quiet night, and if I ordered sushi rather than a hot meal I might have been satisfied. Otherwise I’d say don’t bother

The sushi was Awesome!’ The ford and service was superb. I ordered the shrimp dish and it was great. I will return when visiting Savannah again. The Mexican roll was the bomb!

Unorganized, completely ruined my Valentine’s Day. Walked into a mad house the night of, had reservations well in advance but was told there would be a 45 minute wait. Ridiculous.

The service was very slow, the sushi lacked freshness and the prices didn’t match the service.

Doesn’t need many words. I love Elē. It’s delicious, upscale, beautiful and the service is wonderful. They give you time to relax and converse with your company instead of rushing you through your meal. It’s one of my favorite gems of Savannah.

This is an awesome jewel in Wilmington Island. My fiancé and I visited Savannah over the summer and was looking for an eclectic spot to eat. It was so tucked in, we almost rode past it. The décor is breathtaking and the restaurant itself has such an intimate feel. Our food and drinks were delectable. We will definitely visit again!

And underrated Savannah treat. Ele is an Asian fusion restaurant that everyone in Savannah should try. Sure, it is on the Wilmington Island, which is a little bit out-of-the-way, but the food and atmosphere are impeccable. The food was surprisingly delicious. I obviously expected some garbage Asian crap that I would put into my mouth reluctantly, but, and I mean B but, it was a great sensation on both the taste buds and the mood, I. E. The ambience, so I must suggest this restaurant to anyone looking for A fine Asian or fusion meal.

Great restaurant, and I wish there were more nice restaurants on the island as there aren’t enough places for«adults only» to eat.(But then the Islands isn’t known for welcoming new businesses to begin with) The food’s a little pricey but good, sushi was excellent and service was great, too. Just a good place all around that’s worth going back to if you’re tired of toddler-friendly Mexican food or pizza. Or bakeries, as these businesses seem to be the only ones that ever open up on the islands anymore.

Went there once and never consider to go again. I ordered snapper and they substitute it with tilapia. I found it out at the first bite and by looking at the shape and pattern of the filet. The waiter asked the kitchen and they denied it I knew it can’t be snapper but tilapia(I grew up on a island eating fresh fish everyday, and buying and cooking for my family over two decades). So, I asked for the manager, he looked into my eyes and told me that it was snapper. I told him it was tilapia and he needs to check on the kitchen. He came out said that they were out of snapper and had to use tilapia. I said they have to let customers know the situation and not cheat on us with cheaper fish. He asked me to have fresh whole scored flounder which just got in. I agreed and still paid full price for four dishes. My family had to wait and watch the whole episode. Good lesson for my kids though. Gone out to have a nice meal and had to deal with deceiving people like that is just not worth to go anymore. I caught them cheating red handed because I know fish. Think about people who can’t tell one filet from the other? This restaurant is a No Go. I have found out they also ran another two similar restaurants in town and try to avoid them altogether.

Our experience was good, from the hostesses to the waitress, and of course the décor is outstanding. Love the water fountains in front and the green light in the bar! I had a cocktail made with St. Germaine that was awesome, down to the orchid that floated in it. While the majority of our 10 person party truly enjoyed their meals, and I might add the portions were perfect, mine was just ok. I ordered the Ocean Star, which is a lobster stuffed with crab. I think I could have had the same quality at a Red Lobster. Overall, though, I believe I was the only one with concerns about the food. The duck and the sushi looked fab! I will try them next time!

Let me start by saying the only reason I am giving it 2 stars is because of the décor. I have to give them credit for that up front! I have tried Ele twice and have to say that once you are seated the bad service starts! Both times we waited about an hour before getting any food. The staff is young and inexperienced. It has potential to be very good, but right now they aren’t quite there. The sushi is good if you can stand to wait that long.

Came here with someone who knew several people who worked here so I believe that we had an advantage for what to order off of their lengthy menu. Overall, I had a great time here and thought that their modern, lounge like atmosphere was really nice. Appetizers: Their appetizer tasting for four was not worth the price of $ 25 [pic uploaded]. Their fried spring rolls and dumplings were standard and small and didn’t satisfy. Sushi: Their rolls were prepared and presented well. They were expensive at around $ 15 each but I thought that the fish was of really good quality and the rolls were a generously sized. The Kobe beef roll, Ele roll, rainbow roll, and spider roll were among my favorites. Entrees: I think I prefer their rolls over their entrees. I tried their fried spicy sea bass filet [$ 20] which was served over vegetables and a curry sauce. I also tried the seared scallop with Chilean sea bass [$ 23]. The fish was cooked well in both dishes, but I just thought that there was too much going on in each dish that the fish itself was lost in it. They were generous portions and are worth the price compared to entrees that you would find at other sushi places. I did like how each entrée was garnished with a beautiful orchid [my favorite flower!] Food: 4 Value: 3 Service: 4 Overall: 4

Ambiance was a Four. Food was a Three. Since most of us are concerned with food on here I don’t want to mislead people. The food was very Americanized and usually fusion is like futon… makes a terrible bed and equally unimpressive couch. This place was kind of an exception but kind of not. I think it would be way better if they committed to a cuisine like sushi and hired chefs that specialize in sushi. Instead my thai cuisine tasted more like chicken fried rice… and my miso soup tasted more like tofu and chicken broth. «Good» for wilmington island but overall I wouldn’t go out of my way.
