Got Lasik here from Dr. Miller and her team. Fantastic experience. The entire procedure and the consultations/​measurements were smooth and easy. Now I’ve got awesome vision. I had major contact issues so it was honestly life changing. Dr. Miller is extremely knowledgable and she and her team were more than willing to explain the entire procedure to me and answer all my questions. I highly recommend her and the Georgia Eye team to those considering LASIK.

My eyes were never bad, but I definitely needed glasses to drive so I wore them almost all the time. I’m a firefighter and it was always a pain to have another thing to grab when the tones go off at night or something to search for in the truck after finishing a call, when I needed to put my glasses back on. Dr. Miller put me through some preliminary testing and we found I was an ideal candidate for LASIK. Shortly after, I was walking in on the day of my operation.
Let me say this: it was no big deal. I am not an eyeball person. I could never get contacts in because I always squint and flinch when stuff gets near my eye. Dr. Miller even said «put it in the chart: he’s a squeezer.» So I was nervous about the actual procedure. They gave me some pain killers and I walked back to the operating room. The procedure started and the machine basically put a lot of pressure on one eye at a time, making that eye go temporarily blind. This was perfect. I couldn’t see anything coming at me. There was absolutely no pain or discomfort with the laser or any other part of the procedure. My ride took me home and I took a nap, doctor’s orders.
I woke up with some dryness to my eyes but nothing terrible. Threw a couple drops in my eyes and I was stunned. I was standing across the room and could read the name of every DVD on my shelf. I followed a regimen of eyedrops at certain intervals for a while after and that was it. The whole thing was extremely convenient and simple.
I now have ²⁰⁄₁₅ vision. This was one of the best purchases I’ve ever made.

I needed prescription sunglasses and went here for exam and glasses. Exam and optician were fine, then it came time for the glasses. Absolutely the worst experience ever. I had to go back 5 times to get it right and then had to change frames because the lenses were wrong. 10 days later I went to pick up new glasses and the lenses were so poorly mated to the frame there were gaps of sunlight around the edges. Asked to have my money refunded and insurance co. notified so i did not lose benefits. This process took almost a month and so far it’s been 2 months trying to get $ 88 dollars back. Never again
