A decent place to eat just off of 95 if you’re looking for something close to the interstate. The service is good and they’re reasonably priced.

Poor service — brought the wrong drink, then made the entrée wrong and had to redo it but didn’t tell us. We wanted a light meal and didn’t order apps, so we sat there with our drinks for 45 minutes — no bread, cheese and crackers, or even popcorn. When our meals came the waitress didn’t say anything but someone from the kitchen did come out to explain. No attempt to accommodate us. Oh, and the food wasn’t very good either. My wife ordered hers without hot peppers — it came with hot sauce all over it. We didn’t wait for a third time. Mt second bad experience with a Houlihans; won’t try again.

Look. There’s nothing I can say to express this place. It is expensive. But holy shit it’s good!

This place has great food and great service! We searched for awhile to find a good place to eat and this place had the best reviews so we gave it a shot and the reviews were correct. Our waitress made sure our glasses were full and plates were warm. I definitely recommend going here if you’re in the area.

Went here for a late dinner. The waitress was friendly and the food was good. The atmosphere was cozy. We would have liked the option to not be seated in the bar but the food came quickly and was hot and fresh. I asked for my burger to be made with fried onions rather than fresh and they happily accommodated. There was nothing outstanding about the experience but it was certainly worth the trip.

Highly recommended. We’re back in the ‘States for a brief visit and took the opportunity to stop by Houlihan’s for dinner. I was the best food we’ve eaten since we’ve been back. And we’ve enjoyed a number of good restaurants. Try the Meat Loaf — it was«to die for». And if you enjoy a drink for dinner, you’ll find the bartender will not short you on your choice of spirit.

Great place to eat while in Savannah. Very upset they closed both Orlando locations. I enjoyed the French Onion soup and Asian Chop Chop salad. If the stuffed mushrooms are delicious too. Right off I-95, and its worth stopping.

On a road trip to Savannah we decided to try this place out. Our waitress, Kerenisha, was sweet and helpful. She suggested some stuff on the menu and I ended up going with her choice which I ate with pleasure. It was the stuffed garlic cream cheese chicken with mash and my boyfriend had shrimp tacos with chips and salsa which was also really yummy. I would recommend coming here.

Staff is nice. Lots of seating with the bar area being quite comfortable. 4TV’s are located above the bartender workspace allowing most bar customers a good view of the game. The menu has a good variety of food selections, of which I’ve tried the Pan seared Ahi Tuna appetizer, grilled Atlantic Salmon with lemon butter and the miso glazed grilled Atlantic Salmon. All three dishes were delicious.

A chance business trip took us back to the region unexpectedly so we made another visit to Houlihan’s. Even though they were busy and near the middle of dinner rush; we were seated within 1 minute of arrival. Server took our order fairly quickly despite having a table of 11 to deal with directly adjoining our’s. Everything arrived as requested so I had chance to pace my meal. What was supposed to be hot was hot and cold was cold. I do like their dinner salad but it could have been slightly bigger. Only solid complaint was the bathroom looked like a bomb went off. I know that’s probably more the pig public with no respect rather than restaurant staff but it needed service. Disclosure: I did receive a comp from management from my last visit but it in no way affected my updated review. I’m pretty critical of a dining experience where the per person charge(without alcohol) can range from $ 25-$ 35 or more per person plus tip. I think overall they delivered on my expectations and was worth the stop in the gateway area of town.

We wanted a local restaurant, but wound up coming to Houlihans, and couldn’t be happier! Thai chicken wings are as good as it gets! We also had pot-roast sliders and they were also excellent, as was the service. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Houlihan’s is a chain that caters to nearby hotel dwellers and does it rather well. I will say this about this Houlihan’s location, both the service and food are spectacular. Meatloaf was easily the best I’ve ever had. Our server, Eddie, was awesome. Very fast, friendly and attentive. So Cal tacos were also great. They do simple, homestyle food, amazingly well and that gets a lot of respect in my book. Prices are indeed higher than what you’d find at other chain restaurants, but well worth it. Their quality of ingredients and taste was second to none. Sometimes Unilocalers tend to underrate places just because they are a chain and although chain restaurants don’t always live up to expectations, Houlihan’s far exceeded them. If I am driving by again, I’ll surely be back.

Very good! We stopped in Houlihan’s because it was convenient and because of good reviews. It is a chain, but very upscale. The menu had much healthier items than I was expecting, and it was a nice atmosphere. I would enjoy going there for lunch or to watch a game.

This restaurant is in the Savannah gateway are where there are a lot of chain hotels, motels and restaurants. It’s a convenient area for tourists who want something near Savannah that is not quite as expensive as the hotels in town. That being said, Houlihan’s is a more upscale restaurant than most of the ones you find here. I came in for dinner and there was a nice crowd. It seems to generate a lot of business from locals. I sat at the bar and the seating there was very comfortable. That is something you don’t see too often. Most bar stools at restaurants are hard and uncomfortable, but these were soft and padded. The service was very good at the bar. I just had a glass of wine and an entrée. I had Thai grilled chicken. It was quite good, very tasty with nice seasoning. It was also kind of a light meal, with rice and asparagus. The asparagus was cooked well, still a little crisp but heated throughout. The rice had a very nice seasoning with a touch of pineapple without being sugary. The grilled chicken was juicy and tender. The prices were moderate. I would definitely visit this Houlihan’s or others.

I eat there often when traveling through GA. Great location with very good food and friendly service. On my last trip I accidentally left my IPad on the table, and drove back to FL without knowing I left it behind. Steve Colson the Manager could not have been more helpful in stooping what he was doing and getting it shipped back to me. Great example of going above and beyond. He understands what customer service is all about!

This is one of those places in the Savannah area that is conveniently located where even those just passing through can stop by and enjoy a great meal with spectacular cocktails. Never had a bad experience here in terms of service and cleanliness. The cocktails are mixed expertly and often mixed a little heavy. The draft beer selection is representative of the local area(e.g. SweetWater) and has the domestic staples(e.g. Bud, Miller, etc…). If you’re not driving, definitely try the pitcher of Long Island Iced Tea(great for a group!). For an appetizer, the you can’t go wrong with the Potstickers or «piled high» chicken nachos. The loaded baked potato soup could be a bit thicker to give it a more hearty flavor, but the French Onion is delightful. The So CAL fish tacos are some of the best in Savannah, and the French Dip is out of this world; seasoned to perfection and piping hot. You won’t go wrong with their fries, or a loaded baked potato.

Date: Friday evening around 6 – 7:30 pm(early evening). After having a ton of terrible experiences in Pooler & Savannah restaurants, I decided to go back to one of the best restaurants in Savannah, Houlihan’s. It’s always been consistently excellent(rarely less so). I really wanted an appetizer, so I recommended to my wife to get the seared Ahi Tuna. She was weary because it is 1) So raw(middle is bright pink), 2) the menu listed spicy ingredients, &3) she hates fish. It was so amazing she’s talking about buying an Ahi Tuna steak to see if we can replicate the delicious-ness. I wanted something simple, something basic. I ordered fish and chips. She ordered meatloaf on a bed of mash and green beans. We always share a few bites of our order with each other, and MAN that meatloaf was good. Even tho the fish and chips hit the spot, I wished I go the same. Service as always was awesome. They tend to always hire young, energetic, and overall awesome servers. Food flew out of the kitchen. I think we spent less than an hour total in there.

The food was very underwhelming, I pretty much found not one part of the meal appetizing or enjoyable. The kids meal options are ridiculous. I’m also not too sure this restaurant chain even knows what type of food they want to serve but they need to figure it out fast, because any time I find a menu as large as theirs but can’t seem to make a clear cut choice on what sounds good, that’s a problem. Weird Asian/American style menu with some things being served with chips and salsa really? Our meal was $ 70 which also pissed me off because for that much I expect to at least enjoy my meal a little. The service was fine, but the low rating is because of the food… it just really sucked.

We just ate here tonight. I hadn’t been to a Houlihan’s for several years so some of the choices and even the look of the menu was different than I remember. We had a really friendly waitress. I ordered the miso-glazed salmon(has quinoa stir fly and edamame with a dipping sauce) and LOVED it. My hubby had the meatloaf(comes with mashed potatoes and gravy) and he liked that also. The portions were generous; I had to take some to go.
