Having seen Brian S. reply to my review, I felt compelled to update my previous review. Let me make something quite clear, especially to Mr. Brian S. that my issue was not with Torrie Davis who thankfully has been nothing but nice and accommodating to my fiancé and me. To address some points made by Brian S: -«Verragio is running behind their normal production schedule» — My fiancé had called the International Diamond Center on August 1st to ensure that the ring would be arriving on August 8th, when I would be flying down from New Jersey. The representative who answered his phone call, «checked the system» and immediately answered that IDC would not be receiving the ring until August 19th and from there commenced the run-around of «oh no it’ll be here by Tuesday…» «it’ll be here by Thursday…» and lo and behold it arrived on the 19th… as your«system» had already indicated. Which brings me to my second point: — «…our Sales Associate, Torrie, has continually contacted you and your fiancé with status updates…» — Let it be known to everyone that we did not receive any updated phone calls from Ms. Davis. My fiancé was calling IDC practically twice a week to get updates and never got a straight answer as to when the ring was actually being shipped. Quite honestly the only phone call we can remember receiving from Ms. Davis was to inform my fiancé that, under the instruction of your managers, she would no longer be able to speak to me because of my Unilocal!review. That’s right! I was banned! Once Brian S. and the managers of the Savannah branch of International Diamond Center caught wind of my less than stellar review on this website they made a point to phone my fiancé to inform him that Torrie can only now handle business through him, and no longer through me, as I left an honest review that must not have been to their liking. :Sarcastic: Bottom line, where I come from we don’t do «this.» As an establishment, I am shocked as to how they respond to negative reviews and how they handle business as a whole. I almost feel the need to say that good thing this purchase was made by two people, and not just myself, because who knows how I would have ever gotten that ring all because I was banned from IDC for I leaving an honest review of my very unfavorable experience. Like I said before, buyer beware. Am I happy with my final product? After 8 weeks of waiting and an additional plane ticket down to Savannah, yes, I am. Was it worth the 8 week long headache and struggle to actually get an answer from them? Not really. Verragio is definitely sold by more than one jeweler– go find that one! We are just so disappointed.

I have nothing but rave reviews for our experience with International Diamond Center. Torri was great at helping us find the perfect diamond for our anniversary diamond up-grade. I had very specifics for what I wanted in a diamond. She brought out a cushion-cut diamond that fit all my criteria. I originally wanted an asscher but my husband fell in love with this diamond. I was ecstatic that they could take my original engagement ring & use different prongs to mount the new diamond. Then we soldered my engagement & wedding band together. We plan to use IDC to make a right-hand ring or earrings with my original princess engagement diamond at a later date. I posted a picture of my beautiful wedding rings! I told her if everyone could see my rings they would be flocking to get a diamond as sparkling as mine.

I used the Mall Boulevard location. Jessie, the store manager, was a smart ass, and was rude. He promised one thing on the phone, and did the opposite at the store.

A couple of months ago, when I mentioned to a friend that I was shopping for an engagement ring, he told me check these guys out. Having a rough idea of what I wanted, I sent them a message via the contact form on their website to ask if they might have something meeting those criteria in stock. They never bothered to respond, so I ended up purchasing the ring from Blue Nile, whose customer service people couldn’t have been more helpful. Congratulations on losing several thousand dollars in business solely because of laziness, International Diamond Center. Keep up the stellar work!
