Retail store is lacking customer service called 3 times to order contacts using my insurance after getting an eye exam from Dr. Jackson at that store location. Had to call the mall location to actually place an order after the 12 Oaks refuse to take order when I called at 4:41 pm finally returned call at 7:44 — 3 hours later. Will return to 1−800-Contacts.

Stay away.
The Dr tried to tell me I had undiagnosed astigmatism, when I’ve been wearing glasses and contacts with a light Rx for over 10 years. «Almost the entire population has it, no doctor wants to tell patients about it because everyone has it and they don’t want to explain it.» When he looked at the two pairs of glasses I brought in, neither had the astigmatism correction. He suggested that I get new glasses given the astigmatism but when I questioned him further given that the contacts he recommended didn’t need to correct astigmatism, why did I need to purchase new glasses? The Rx was staying the exact same. And oh by the way the contacts were pretty much the most expensive ones. «Oh I don’t know the pricing, I just recommend what’s best for your eyes.» Uh huh…
My contacts were supposed to be delivered May 4^th. They are now 8 days late and the location can’t figure out why they haven’t showed up. They don’t have a tracking number for the shipment. And I can’t do anything with the rebates until I get them in hand.
I would never return to this location.

I am sure the whole staff are great — but… it may also be all about seeing Dr. Arneson… trust me… this is THE ONLY place to get your eye exam/​contacts/​glasses in Savannah… just trust me… See Dr. Arneson…

If it’s going to be a long wait, just tell me, so I can plan accordingly. I came in here the other day and was told it would only be 30 minutes. So I checked in and sat down to wait. 1:30 minutes later I was seen. I could have ran a bunch of other errands around town with that extra hour.
I think I might be taking my business to Wal-​Mart now.

Fantastic customer service. We live 25 minutes away and there are plenty of eye glass places much closer to us but they just can’t match the wonderful people that work here.
I’ve been taking my son here since he was four years old and they are great with kids and very knowledgeable about picking the right frames for his face and the weight of his frames. I’ve even called before we’ve come to ask a question and gotten there and they had already had frames put to the side for him to try because they remembered he had such a tiny face.
Everyone is wonderful here and friendly, especially Denise and David.
