This place is a true gem for the homeowner that likes unique, antique and rustic décor. They have anything and everything you might need– doors, iron work, sinks, tiles and so much more. The guy working was very knowledgeable and friendly. There are not many places like this around, so def recommend

Really cool place. Some fine antique architectural salvage. It’s so special because of its location. Being in Historic Savannah gives them access to soo much 19th century architecture. When these places get torn down or remodeled this business goes in and collects. They have tons of this stuff. So if you buy an 1800’s house that has been remodeled(or remudled) and you want to restore it you could go here and find doors, windows, fixtures, handles, fireplaces etc to match your home instead of hiring someone to fabricating a door to match your existing ones. It’s really cool to just look around as we’ll.

This is a nice-looking, but mediocre salvage place. And Matthew H is right — they sell $ 25 door knobs — that I’ve gotten elsewhere in far better condition for $ 10. The two times I’ve been there, the guy that helped me was not very knowledgable, not very friendly, and not all that helpful. I really want to like and frequent local businesses, and even pay a little more to do so, so that we don’t become another generic wasteland, but it’s difficult when they’re so radically overpriced(like I said I’m WILLING to pay SOME more), and so unable to provide baseline competent customer service. I’m renovating my 100 year old house, and under the circumstances I just can’t justify paying 200 to 400 percent for less quality, and less service than shopping online.

Great place if you are restoring a home and need a specific item, or are just trying to ad period charm to an existing home. They sell $ 25 doorknobs up to $ 2500 fireplaces.
