Jae Lynn is such a fantastic teacher. Sage my daughter has loved the flexible and encouraging teachers. Positive and patient, the instructors really know how to motivate. Dancing is not just about technical precision but about heart. After Sage had some orthopedic surgery, their ability to match instruction to her recovery was wonderful.

Words will never be enough to explain the way Savannah Ballroom has enhanced my life. I have been taking lessons for a little less than 6 months and I feel like I can say «I am a ballroom dancer!» Yes, I am still learning but I walk differently, stand taller and feel incredible when I am dancing. I feel so fortunate to have been introduced to Savannah Ballroom by my parents. They went for lessons for my younger beother’s wedding and stayed for the fun and great workout to keep them active. I decided to try it and now it’s a year later and I’m enjoying it so much I go 3 times a week and have begun competing in the region. My parents like it for health, wellness and fun at this point in their lives and I enjoy the challenge, competition, study, and fitness. There is something for everyone regardless of age or ability. Don’t look back and regret not giving it a try!

I am eternally grateful to Alonzo and JaeLynn; if they weren’t so open and encouraging about dancing, I don’t think my husband would arranged for us to take lessons for our first dance. Plus, they worked a minor miracle, choreographing a great dance to our selected song (The Pixies’ «Where Is My Mind?») in just 2 weeks. Alonzo’s and JaeLynn’s talent is inspiring, and their enthusiasm is motivating. They are as fabulous as teachers as they are dancers!

I was recruited to be a «star» in a «dancing with the stars» charity event and was paired up with pro dancer Alonzo Boschulte, one of the owners of Savannah Ballroom. I was not sure what to expect since I had never really done ballroom dancing before and was worried I wouldn’t fit in. Boy was I wrong! From the moment I entered the studio, Alonzo and his partner JaeLynn made me feel welcome. They are both great dancers and teachers, but they are also so down to earth and funny! When you sign up for dance lessons, you want to learn new skills but you also want to have a good time and Savannah Ballroom makes sure you do both. I did mostly private lessons to get ready for my competition but they also offer group classes and even «dance parties» every couple of weeks. I highly recommend signing up! The studio is located in a little shopping strip mall near an army recruiting station but don’t let that scare you… when you open the door you’ll find yourself transported to the dance floor.
