My daughter skates with the Savannah Jr. DerbyTaunts roller derby team, and this is where they like to skate and practice as often as possible. The manager, John, as well as the rest of the staff are super nice to all of the kids. They answer questions about skating and offer help any time a kid needs it. The place can get a little crazy when there are birthday parties, but that is as it should be. The medieval theme is pretty fun, with knight statues all over the place and an enormous dragon hanging out in the rink room. We’ve been there for just skating, for birthday parties, and for roller derby bouts. As a family, we highly recommend this place for the old and young alike.

Daughters enjoyed this place. We got there early and left before the crowd. I heard that this place can get pack. The skating and laser tag was a blast. I will go again…

Took my wife here to go roller skating for the first time in about 15 years. We went on a Saturday evening, from about 8:00 PM until 10:00 PM (close). It cost us $ 20 to skate for the night, which seemed reasonable to me. The lady behind the counter told us not to worry, that roller skating is like riding a bicycle — you never forget how to do it. Boy, was she wrong.
The place was about as messy and chaotic as you’d expect a skating rink to be. Shoes and skates were scattered around the floor once we got closer to the skating rink, but I doubt there’s any good way to control that. The rental skates are… well, they don’t charge any extra for them for a reason. The skates my wife got had uncomfortably warped insoles and were fairly moist when she picked them up. Mine weren’t sweaty (much larger size), but they fit terribly loose around the ankle. Lockers were available for $ 0.50, and we had no trouble finding one since most of the kids just threw their shoes on the floor.
The other skaters were mostly well-​behaved. There was a group of 6 – 7 fairly advanced skaters that would occasionally stop to do nifty dance moves, and in the process would create a rather large and unsafe barrier. Every time I saw them stop and get down (literally), we’d cling to a wall and wait for them to stop. There were a few staff members skating around, but none did anything to fix the safety hazard.
The music seemed appropriate for the crowd/​occasion, and was of sufficient quality so as not to detract from the overall experience. The DJ (or playlist?) never had a gap or lull, and struck a decent balance between club bangers and slow jams.
I think this is one of two or three places to go roller skating in Savannah, and although I wasn’t thoroughly impressed I probably will not bother checking out the competition.

My daughter had her 10^th bday here she loved it :-)) I got the king pkg skating and laser tag pizza brought my own cake they gave me an extra pizza. Staff was extremly helpful and nice!!! Would Definitly recommend!!!

I came here back in June of 2010 because I love roller skating. It’s a nice and decent sized roller skating place. Prices are very reasonable (I skated for 7 dollars on a Saturday afternoon). Plays current and old school music too. You won’t be disappointed. Also ideal for birthday parties.

Arcade, laser tag, and a nice size roller skating rink inside. Came on Wednesday and apparently Wed & Mon are nights for beginners so it wasn’t so crowded. The music was a bit of hip hop and R&B and the crowd was mixed. Couple of families and couples out just having some fun.
We did laser tag and the roller skating all for 7 dollars, pretty good deal i think and that included the shoe rental.
The laser tag room was pretty nice but nothing over the top. I remember one back home much better but ‘eh. It is one level and somewhat small but still had a good time. You’re in there for 20mins.

I’m not to keen on the whole arcade thing (to much money to spend for video games) or skating rink aspect (I’m too old to have four wheels under each one of my feet), but the laser tag «field» is great. Lots of room for hiding from or shooting at your loved ones with a laser gun. Really, how often do you get to shoot at your kids??? Oh, kids love shooting at their parents also.
