Love the food, best breakfast place in Savannah. They seem to always be busy. The prices are very affordable. This is a must try.

I have been here about 6 times and it’s always good. I get the veggie hash browns(mushrooms, onions, zucchini, broccoli and tomatoes). Service sometimes can be hit or miss but that’s anywhere. Food has always arrived fairly quickly after ordering. Sometimes it’s a bit of wait for a table, if you don’t have time to wait you can always just call your order in for pick up which is a plus.

Hash Brown Deluxe is great! I tried the beef and enjoyed it and will be eating it again the next time I stop in. Something different but great tasting.

Just moved here from New York. The food is awesome. I recommend to anyone who likes to eat good. The prices are pocket friendly and the customer service is phenomenal.

Good food. But when you want to eat there is probably when the rest of the city wants to. That being said they are grossly understaffed and underprepared for a packed house. When you order your food your server has such confidence. When you get your order you will receive it in pieces. «Are you missing anything?» becomes a complete reorder. They don’t fill one plate with an order but use several small plates with no organization at the pass. I’ve never worked in the food industry but my OCD can do wonders for their lack of organization. I received my side order of hashbrowns after finishing my sandwich, asked for ketchup and ended up having to get it from a neighboring table. 3 for food… needs organization badly.

Overall, the food was good and affordable. I had the pork chops and hash browns. The pork chops were good and a bit spicy. My only negative comment is that they need better organization. When you walk in, you don’t know where to go, who is in line, where the line begins etc… Its just packed with people.

I wont even go into massive detail about this local favorite. I have been to three of them thus far and as to be expected it is still amazing no matter which one I goto. I do have to point out that this particular one is Beyond busy on weekday mornings due to the hospital staff and doctors offices that are in walking distance. I suggest you call in ahead of time if you get the chance to do so. that way all you have to do is pick your order up. YES, I SAIDIT! YOUCANCALLINYOURORDER!(that has WIN written all over it.) The breakfast is awesome, at least from my experiences. The portion sizes are good to go as well. So there you go, give it a try and if you don’t like it you can blame me!

I always like to try a «hole in the wall» while I am out of town. Go where the locals go, ya know? Beware. The location is a strip mall, which doesn’t bother me any, plenty of good breakfast places in strips. The place was buzzing when we went inside! You seat yourself and it was busy! I was very excited to see what they had in store for us! It took them about 10 minutes before any one even came over to get our drink order and it took just as long to actually get our drinks. Once our drinks arrived we put in our orders. I got bacon, pancakes, and one egg. My boyfriend order an omelette. His omelette came right out and smelled amazing! I couldn’t wait for my breakfast which I thought would be out right after. 5 minutes pass, 10 minutes pass, and 15 minutes later I got my food. I was appalled! My pancakes tasted like flavorless bisquick. I had to wash down every bite with orange juice because it dried out my mouth/throat so bad. I notified my waitress that my bacon never arrived. She gave me a puzzled look and asked if I even ordered bacon.(That was the one part I was really looking forward to, I know I ordered bacon. I always do!) We finished eating and then my bacon came to the table. It was cold and chewy… yum… not! We paid our THIRTY dollar tab and left. I couldn’t wait to get out of there! I don’t know how things are in Georgia but, that’s not how breakfast restaurants are ran in Florida.

I’ve been here a handful of times, I really only come here if I want a cheap, diner breakfast. But the staff sucks, I’ve never had a nice person. Also, don’t expect to always get what you order. There’s been multiple times I wouldn’t get all of my food. I usually order the same couple of things, either waffles and bacon or chicken and waffles. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve only received the waffles. The food is okay, nothing great really. Only plus side of this place is that it’s cheap, so it works for someone who doesn’t want some fast food breakfast. Don’t have high expectations, though.

Not sure what all the fuss is about. The breakfast was ok. My girlfriend didn’t eat most of her meal. She said the grits were bland and watery. I had the Triple Crown omlette which was fine. The coffee was pretty much regular diner coffee. There are a lot of options for breakfast/brunch in Savannah. I’d suggest looking elsewhere.

Came here in search of a good local joint away from the crazy downtown Sunday brunch scene and was let down hard. My expectations were reasonable enough. along the lines of Waffle House, and yet I would have rather dined there instead. Service was extremely quick but highly disorganized. I got my breakfast on three plates, that each came about 5 minutes apart, only one of which was hot(1 plate came only after I asked server about the remainder of my order). My partner had a croissant breakfast sandwich that was stone cold. It is not possible that it was made to order with freshly cooked ingredients. Additionally, I was asked if I needed a to-go cup or anything else THREETIMES in 2 minutes and I was maybe halfway done with my multi-temperature breakfast. Needless to say, it was 30 minutes of my life and $ 20 I’ll never get back.

This place is excellent. The food is filling because the portions are huge. You will not walk away hungry. Be prepared for hustle and bustle because it is so busy with people coming in and out. It can get crowded at times, but it is worth the wait. Do not miss a chance to visit.

I really enjoy Sunny Side Up. The staff is friendly and efficient. The food is prepared to order and tastes great. I enjoy sitting at the counter and watching the action. Their precision amazes me. Oh… Salmon patties for breakfast? Yes please!

The restaurant was quite busy when we arrived, but we were able to get seated quickly. Service was prompt and the food was delicious. Coffee was pretty good and my cup was kept full. Prices were very reasonable. Definitely will be returning!

I think I ate there everyday for a week. What a fantastic breakfast spot. In that week I think I tried just about everything on the menu. The prices are excellent and you get a plate full of food. Yum yum!

The things that I like about this place… Attentive and interesting wait staff, ours quick and fairly diverse menu for a breakfast/brunch place. And reasonably priced too. We see many«regulars«here on weekdays and weekends which bodes five stars. However, many times we smell like fried food in biz or Sunday clothes. Otherwise, it would get five stars. It’s a great people watching location.

I’d give this place a solid 3.5 stars. A little bigger than the Waffle House but with the same quality of food. Sunny’s just has a little bigger selection. The price was great as well. I enjoyed my salmon cakes, cheese grits, scrambled eggs and raisin toast, though. My boyfriend enjoyed the big breakfast. Just enough food for a hungry man!

It’s a step up from Waffle House. Standard breakfast fare with about the same quality. They offer a slightly wider selection in the form of pancakes and corned beef hash. The seating was a bit of a free for all. It was right after church on a Sunday, so the place was full. It’s a seat yourself arrangement with no one consistently refereeing. We thought the couple in front of us was ordering take out only to be told they were waiting for a table as well. Fortunately, a table opened up fairly quickly after that. It was convenient and standard breakfast fare. A-OK in my book.
