The location is GREAT! The food was slow, but good. The catfish was cooked perfectly. For the price the portions are on the small side. In this area, it’s the only game in town. However, the waitress neglected to bring the coleslaw which was included or the extra lemons I asked twice about. Unfortunately, the dining area was extremely dirty and deco and furnishings are outdated. 18 Jan 2015UPDATE: We actually slept in one their room over the summer, twice. Lodging is not for the faint-hearted. Carpet is VERY old/smelly. They have the tiniest iron tub I’ve ever seen and it’s sort of on a platform, plus all the plumbing leaked all night. That said, the fridge was cold, But A/C not so much. The view was the very best part. The bar can get extremely loud and sadly, the management lets the youngest, 20-ish?, cook? dishwasher, pick the tunes(think hip/hop /country rap crap), even though the paying crowd is mostly between 40 and 60.
