While the apartment offers nice features like stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, private bathrooms and laundry, the negatives of this place far exceed the positives. First of all, the walls are paper thin. I was in a 4 bedroom 4 bath unit and I could hear conversations being had in the further bedroom. Not only can you hear the people in your own unit, noise travels effortlessly though out the building. The management here is AWFUL. Almost every month, I was charged the wrong amount for rent which would then have to be corrected by management. After being there for a quarter, I made the decision to sublease. I got multiple notices saying that I owed for rent even though there was a subleaser in the unit paying rent. When I went to pay the sublease fee, they overcharged me and it took weeks to get them to reverse the payment and another 30 to have the money reach my account. There is a serious organization problem there. Also FYI the 4bed/4bath units DONOT have 2 washers and dryers like shown in the plan. I pointed this out to management and they denied this until I sent them the floor plan that was on THEIR website. A complete disaster.

The amenities are nice, as you get a private room and bathroom, washer and dryer unit, etc. the management has also changed to better hands and are more organized and the maintenance is fair. The biggest issue is noise control. The walls are by no means sound proof and everyone’s rooms are placed really close together, so you can easily hear conversations or music played from your roommates or neighboring apartment mates. This can be especially annoying if your neighbors or roommates throw lots of parties, play loud music, or have frequent visitors since you will hear everything that’s going on. This can make it hard to sleep or study. Also as a heads up, a lot your fellow tenants can also be assholes and do stupid things like spray fire extinguisher in the hallways that make everyone have to evacuate the building at 2am in the morning.

Stay Away. Extremely poorly managed and not maintained. First, be careful to read their roommate policy. They will tell you what you want to hear before signing your lease, but they are not bound to honor any requests unless you get it in writing. 4 person rooms don’t just sit empty. You will be plugged into open spaces. Second, place is really poorly managed. It’s extremely difficult to contact any property managers by phone. In fact, the voice mail still isn’t set up. I had to go through the management headquarters office in NC and still couldn’t reach anyone for 3 – 4 days. You will need to talk with them because their web payment system is a disaster. The rent is often wrong and there is a 3% charge for paying by credit card. The final straw was the complex was sold over the holidays. Management didn’t mention this or the fact that all auto payments were cancelled. There was no notice that they didn’t get my January rent payment until I received an eviction notice by email on the 19th. All of this was fixed, for a fee, I think. Finally, maintenance is marginal. Lots of cheap carpet and vinyl that aren’t wearing well. Intense odors in the hallway because you can’t open any windows. Car gate is broken in the open position half the time. One of the exterior doors won’t shut and can’t be locked. You can do better.

Compete bait and switch. Luxury linoleum wood floors and several apartments don’t have windows in the living room. We will be moving out as soon as possible
