Shady Pines Campground

They got what they deserve karma is a bitch.
They treated people like garbage. I had to do one star so I could post but I don’t give them any.
They are closed for GOOD! :-)

I’ve camped many times at Shady Pines, always a great experience. The owners and staff are helpful and cordial, and they’re always working hard on maintaining the property. I’ve found the bathrooms to be extremely clean, as is the pool. The store is nicely stocked and ice is cheap. The wood is a great mix of large and small pieces. My husband and I work weekends, so we camp at the beginning of the week, so I can’t comment on the food.
I find the previous reviewer’s comments about crime both confusing and amusing. The charm of camping to me is to be out in the woods, away from the fray of normal life, and that’s what Shady Pines is all about. Crime??? No such thing out there! I rather doubt that the Mafia, serial killers and gangs even know the town of Savoy exists…
