Came here for alteration for my wedding dress. I read the review about this place being «more expensive» but since my alteration was very minor, I decided to give it a try. On the first visit, Tina gave me an estimate of this would be around $ 100 to $ 200 (she charges $ 50 per hour). But when I picked up the dress, the final price turned out to be almost $ 300. The work was ok, just about what I expected. I think she and I both know it’s a one time business, I didn’t have any control and felt that I was just ripped off.

Tina altered my wedding dress for me, on short notice and on a short time table. She did an absolutely beautiful job and worked through two fittings to make it perfect (it was a little tight on the first go-​around). She provided excellent professional advice on additions to the dress, and I ended up with a semi-​custom dress after she added a halter to it. She is a little bit more expensive (~$ 45 an hour) than some of the other options in Champaign and Bloomington-​Normal, but I think it was absolutely worth it as the process was professional and low-​stress and the outcome fantastic.
