Food was good. Service unfortunately was not. The woman from the vineyard said she called over to warn them about our big group coming over, yet when we got there, they had no idea. They forgot one of our meals. The food took over an hour and a half to come out, not the mention, one of the proprietors came in a half hour or so after us and her table was serves before ours had finished getting our food. Then of course we were a big group so we had to pay a 20% surcharge for tip. Wouldn’t go again with a group.

I will start by saying the food was actually pretty good… However do not come here with a big group. There were 13 of us with 3 kids. It looked like the pizza oven could only fit 1 or 2 pizzas so we all got our meals at different times and took a total of an hour and a half for the last person to finally get served. They also forgot one of our pizzas. It was comical. Really killed the buzz from the winery portion of our adventure. Still paid the mandatory 20% mandatory gratuity charged added there on the end

My girlfriend and I are vacationing here from Delaware. We stopped here for a wine tasting on Valentine’s Day weekend after skiing and was far from disappointed. It was the second place we stopped. Great wine and great food. Everyone was super friendly! Definitely would recommend this place and would come again!

I don’t normally review things, but this pizza was so delicious that I had to give back. I ordered a pizza to split between two, thinking that we would still have leftovers. Wrong. It was too good. So good that we had to order another one to go since I don’t know when I’ll have a pizza I like this much again. I don’t know if this lends to anything, but I’m from NJ and near to NYC. I don’t mean we don’t have great pizza where we’re from, but I haven’t been able to find as good of flatbread pizza as Pizzeria Mama Lucia’s.(FYI – the pizza we ordered was called Genovese and was only 15 $). 5 stars. 5.

Great fired brick oven pizza. Sat outside overlooking a pond. We enjoyed sangria and the Michelangelo. The wait time is a bit slow but worth it. And wine tasting next door!

This place is great! The ambiance was superb… The food great and you must make sure you try the sangria… However make sure that if you get the red make sure it was made with the kuttatiny … Some times they use another red that is dryer… It is good but not as good as it is with the kittantiny.

Excellent place, I live in Tannersville and I enjoy coming here for the view, the sangria and the Pizza. The Michael Angelo is my favorite pizza, the menu is amazing you have a lot of options to choose from. You can bring your family and walk around the pond. Great wines to choose from at the winery.

This pizzeria is by far the best state-side pizza I’ve had. At most other pizzerias, a margherita pizza turns out to just be a cheese pizza — not here! This one reminds me of the pizza that I love to get when I visit Naples, Italy — fresh basil and mozzarella, that is not grated, over tomatoes and marinara. Any pizza I’ve tried here was delicious and the crust is cooked to perfection. The cheese and wine cakes are also very tasty, especially during pumpkin season. The staff is always very friendly and attentive, even when it is busy. Stop here to enjoy wine tasting next-door at the winery, then sangria and brick oven pizza. While it is close to route 33, the outdoor area still has a great atmosphere — I love the tree coming up from the middle of the deck. This is one of my favorite spots in the Poconos to go out to eat!

Wonderful pizza and wine. The sangria is out of this world. Everything is fresh and staff is friendly. Make sure you try the homemade dipping oil and baguette made from the apple spice wine. Also the Michaelangello is amazing.

Service is very slow and it wasent busy with other patrons. We waited 10 minutes for a server to come over and ask us if we wanted drinks. The outside deck is nice to sit at

Best pizza in the Poconos, by far. They use an authentic wood-fired oven which gives the pizza, the bread, and the other dishes a delicious flavor. The other dishes on the menu are pretty damn good, too. Salads are great as well, with fresh ingredients and tasty dressings. Service is very good, all of them are personable & friendly, as well as prompt. Highly recommend Mama Lucia’s Pizzeria at Cherry Valley Vineyards.

Found this place while wandering around the area on foot. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. Plenty of seating space, really nice atmosphere/decorations, and they even have a really nice outdoor area you can eat at during the warmer months. The pizza is made fresh(so you will have to wait maybe 10 minutes or so) and it’s delicious. The only downside to it is that the prices are a bit high for a medium sized pizza. That being said though, the slices were big enough for 2 people to split and be more than satisfied so I’m still giving it 5 stars. We got the Four Cheese pizza with added sauce. The guy who made it said he mixed some ricotta with it which was delicious. They have some pretty yummy looking desserts too but I wasn’t able to try those that day. All in all, a great option in the area. I’d love to come back and try more some day!

My friend picked this place to celebrate her birthday. I was hesitant at first because of the 2 hour drive from our home. But i would say it was all worth it! The place is very cozy, peaceful and beautiful. The food is very delicious, we actually went here twice in 5 hours after we went to the wine tasting. We ordered margherita pizza with baked ziti and the second one was prosciutto pizza with chicken florentine and peach sangria. Every thing tasted great(margherita pizza is my favorite). All I can say, this place is worth the drive! Will be back soon.

Location. Location. Location. Mama Lucia Pizzeria is all about the beautiful spot it has to bring people together for decent tomato pie in a picturesque setting. It sits in a wooden structure adjacent to the Sorrenti Cherry Valley Vineyards tasting barn, and makes for an attractive addition to the campus. The pizza oven is right as you walk in the door, and the chef is elbow deep in dough and sauce, but with time for a smile. The dining area is small, but it is very country-cozy with the grape arbor hanging overhead. You can BYOB from right next door, or go with the in house Red/White Sangria. I thought the red was pretty good. The pizza is not what you would think of as «city pie.» No. This is a reasonable facsimile of a bar pie sized offering. While all the toppings are fresh, the oven is probably not hot enough to crisp the bottom into firmness. If small slices held together with both hands, or knife and fork, are acceptable when eating the pizza, then you are quite content. It is all decent, but not more. Again, this is a very pretty bucolic setting, that easily suggests Napa and Sonoma wineries. So, the atmosphere is great. Never good to drink too much wine on an empty stomach, and Mama Lucia is a good way to avoid the consequences of the over indulgences going on right next door.
