Charming coffee house, loved my latte, the customer service was outstanding. Really neat historical building with an original tin ceiling and brick wall on Route 66. Worth a stop!

Coffee was fine but surliest waitstaff I’ve ever encountered. Food extremely indifferent.

Great stop during a cross-country cycling trip. Smoothies and coffee were a nice treat on a cold rainy day. Free WiFi and great couches and bathroom-spent a lot of time doing work at this little gem-the worker was very friendly and excited to have our group stop in!

Good place for a rest stop off I-40. The staff was nice, coffee was hot, and the shop was clean and modern.

Well, this was the only coffee shop on interstate 40 for miles, so I thought we should stop. It was really nice and modern on the inside, and my latte was amazing. There’s plenty of flavors and drinks to choose from. My only complaint is that the baristas were talking about how gross the pumps for their flavoring syrup was as they were making my drink. One of the girls actually said, «I never clean these things on the inside, and sometimes the flavor comes out in chunkies or will spray everywhere.» Okay, that’s disgusting. Working in food service I know that those are supposed to be thoroughly cleaned on a weekly, if not nightly basis.

If it weren’t for Unilocal,I never would have found this coffee stop just off I-40. I stopped in on a rainy morning to recharge my caffeine levels for a long drive west. The interior of the shop was neat, clean, and modern — not exactly what a coast-to-coast traveller might expect to find along the seemingly desolate landscape of western Oklahoma. To be sure, it’s very similar to a Starbucks-wannabe, despite its location along a street that reminded me of the main town road in ‘My Cousin Vinny.‘ The menu seems to be the regular grind: fresh(and good) coffee, lattes from a mechanized barista station(with beyond ample syrup selection), some pastries, and even frozen yogurt. The woman behind the counter was friendly, as were the two local customers that were present. My only complaints are (1) even at 8:00am, the limited selection of pastries were all plastic-wrapped: an indication of being at least a day old; and (2) In the middle of attending to my two-drink order, the one worker stopped to serve coffee to a gentleman who, with hardly any regard for my status there as a customer, simply walked up to the counter and placed his travel mug beside the register. I appreciate that I was a 1-man line, but I also appreciate businesses that attend to customers on a first-come, first-served basis. For my rating, though– I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt. Considering the only Unilocal reviews for this place(so far) are from residents of Southern California, one can guess that the locals aren’t too concerned with outside opinions. So, I write all this with mainly cross-country travelers in mind.

A great little place in an almost ghost town along Route 66 in Oklahoma. Friendly staff, great drinks, SOYMILK! All combined, makes for a perfect pit stop.
