Good food, served quick, chips good with hot cheese. Seems to be authentic Mexican, not Tex-​mex. I would go back. Might need some updating inside. Was easy to get off 1 – 40 to get here in a few minutes.

We ate here after we found out the El Charro had closed down in Elk City (it had been 6 years since we had last passed through this area). We received warm cheese dip with the chips and it was very flavorful. The food was wonderfully delicious! I ordered the Chile Relleno and it was amazing! Would stop here again just to eat that!

Seems to be the go to Mexican food restaurant around this town, and didn’t disappoint. Good food, low prices. 4 stars because it’s probably your best option in terms of dining in the town, but nothing extremely special about it. Would recommend, for all of you with cars heading east, to continue driving towards Elk City.

Just ate there after staying in town. Had the beef chile relleno and it was best I have had since I left South Texas. Very very good and the sopapilla was soft and fluffy.
