Goodfellow’s Pizza

Great place, have been going here since I was 13 years old! Alex is the best and always helps out, the food is great… I would recommend the grilled chicken special. My boyfriend and I love this sandwich, we actually went for lunch today and got a whole and split it. Their sandwiches are huge and always great. Also the dinners are huge, we usually share just one. So much pasta !! Love goodfellows!

I went here because of the Unilocal reviews. Terrible decision… pizza was horrible, garlic knots were horrible, marinara sauce… you guessed it… horrible. The only thing that was kind of decent was the curly fries and that was barely. Never going here again.

Food is good. Delivery service is horrible. Expect to wait 2 hours for your meal. Not just once, but 3 times! And when you call they lie and say he left 10 mins ago. Well, we are a mile up the street. Get your delivery service up to speed and don’t lie to your customers about it.

I’ve ordered the plain pizza and had a couple of their baked platters as well as the wraps. Definitely worth it! They also have a special for $ 20 that includes a plain pie, wings and garlic knots. Feeds a bunch of people, yummy and affordable. I never bought any of their individual slices so I cannot comment on those but hopefully I’ll try them one of these days.

This place is great! They have awesome marinara sauce! The staff is very friendly and the delivery service is always quick.

So this place has quickly become a weekly thing for dinner. We have ordered several times and now I can comment. Their pizza is decent, not my favorite but good. Their salads are always fresh and generous, the balsamic dressing is fantastic! The star of this place is their wraps! They make their own wraps out of what tastes like pizza dough and they are huge and delicious! Buffalo chicken wrap and bruschetta chicken are the best. We will continue ordering from here for sure.

Goodfellows is awesome! The food is excellent and the staff is super friendly. Great pizza, insane garlic knots, and fantastic subs. Do your self a favor and check out the salad witht the grilled chicken. It’s crazy good and HUGE!!!

This little gem in Parlin is a true find! There’s no good pizza in South Amboy, NJ, and we really wanted some… so…we had a flyer from Goodfellow’s and gave it a try. They’re located only 5 minutes from South Amboy, but due to nearby road construction, it almost looked deserted. There are only a few stools at the counter, so it’s mostly a take out business.
The thin crust pizza was delicious, a crisp, tasty crust with plenty of zingy pepperoni and sausage. A medium pizza was enough for 3. We also ordered an entrée of eggplant rollatini. The sauce was fresh and homemade, the eggplant rolls stuffed with ricotta and mozzarella were very generous, and the loaf of homemade bread was to die for! Dense and flavorful, it was served warm and is made on the premises. A side salad was huge, with a pile of fresh greens, cucumbers, tomatoes, olives, red onions, carrots, radishes… what did they leave *out*??
I’ve never reviewed a pizza place before, and never called a pizza place to tell them how awesome their food is. This was a first! We’ll definitely be back, they are worth a trip from much farther than South Amboy!
