Customer Service and Contract Issues — Problem: I had my driveway paved in October, 2011. Per my contract, I paid for them to rip/remove loose stone and weeds then install 2 inches of asphalt. 1.) I NOW have water flooding my garage due to the wrong pitch and improper drainage(NEVERHADTHISBEFORE) 2.) I have at least TEN bumps/pop ups where weeds are growing through the asphalt because they did not dig out thoroughly before applying the asphalt and they also did not lay down 2 inches of material. There is actually barely 1.5 inches of asphalt. I am only able to see this because I later had a fence installed and can see into the hole for the drop rod. I have made NUMEROUS attempts to contact J&A regarding these issues for MONTHS. Most calls are not returned. The few times I got a call back, I was told that supervisors would call me back and appointments would be scheduled for someone to evaluate the repairs needed. No one shows up and no one calls back. On my last call, I expressed my frustration to a receptionist and she promised that I would be scheduled for next week and that she would personally call me back by Friday(4÷27÷12) to confirm. I have still not heard from them. I have made every good faith effort to allow them to remedy this problem. I paid $ 3500 dollars for this service and it is a mess.
