Delicious and consistent everytime I eat here. I always go for the chicken gyro or falafel. The chick pea salad that they start you with is to die for!

Where to start… Appetizer — Calamari — rubber and the oil was not hot enough so the breading was falling off, smelled terrible had some sort of mashed potatoes served with it. Saganaki — not flamimg not tasty not recomeneded. The dinner salad, lettuce was too wet for the dressing and the tomatoes were old and mealy. Entrée was pork souvalki, very dry, my date had Zakinthos Pasta a dish with orzo and veal which was swimming in a sauce that was like chef Boyardee. Sorry not impressed. Service was good, but when we told our waitress we did not like the calamari, which was not eaten, no response, did not take it off our bill, and just took it away.

I have been here a few times now and the food is consistently quite good. Recently I had the hummus appetizer which was tasty and they give you a large amount which is nice. I also had the chicken souvlaki sandwich which was delicious! I would have liked a little bit more tomatoes on it but I didn’t mind because it was so good. The service was excellent our waitress came over at least five or so times asking how everything was and if we needed anything which is always nice to have, even if you don’t need anything.

The gyros are always on point. Not too pricey and the quality is always good. They also have falafel so that’s always a biased plus for myself.

This place consistently has good food. The food is a bit pricey and for all the money I spent on dinner, you would think the restaurant would have free soda refills… but think again. As for the service, I think it’s decent… not the best, not the worst. Make sure you get there early so you can get a table(it’s a pretty small resturant) …but not too early because they will not give you the complimentary chick pea salad and pita bread if you enter the resturant before 5. My personal favorite item on the menu are the cheeseburgers. Probably one of the best cheeseburgers I’ve had from any resturant period. Overall I enjoy going here but I wish the customer service improved and its not necessary to be nickle & dimed by a place thats already charging a lot for the items on the menu.

This place is a good option on a random week night, when you want something really tasty and quick. Gyro meat is excellent, as are the typical staples: pita bread, hummus, slouvaki, etc … They have a pretty good greek salad as well. Oh, but just know … all the waitresses there are like … these old maid’s from Greece who run over in a frenzy as soon as your finished to take your plate away. They also give you an evil eye if you ask any questions. Just saying.

Great greek salads, nice and fresh, fast service and very friendly. The soup was good and tasty. Order the small sizes as they are large enough!

I have been here several times. I like the Greek salad, Gyro, and Chicken Souvlaki. Had these items many, many times. Good place to dine. Good family restaurant. If you are in the area, definitely recommended.

This is now the only good Greek place around. The food is always very good. However, the prices are on the high side.

The Quick: Overall a good Greek spot in a perfect location on Sayville’s main street. A little pricey for the area but they serve big portions. The Details: Refreshing tzatziki sauce and delicious big portions is what you’ll get from this joint. The food was good, the portions are big, and the bill is a little larger than expected but nothing outrageous. Overall a nice place to get some authentic Greek food on a cute Main Street in Sayville. The décor hasn’t changed in 10 years, nothing fancy but nonetheless inviting. The Damage: ~ $ 20/person but it’s been a while so check the menu.

Very good gyro! The staff is nice most of the time. Kind of on the pricy side for a Greek restaurant. The food is always fresh and delicious.

This is a place where you have a lot of time. I was pretty excited to come here with my coworkers. I love greek food and I love to try different places around Long Island. We came, sat quickly and we ordered. Now this is when things went weird. Our food took awhile to get. The funny thing was, I saw a few friends at another table who came a minute before us and they got their food in a matter of minutes. Ours came in 40 minutes. The service was not that great either. We had a waitress who just took our order and disappeared. When we finally got her to ask what’s going on with our food, she quickly goes«It’s coming!» and walked away as if she didn’t want to be bothered. The restaurant wasn’t busy either so I didn’t understand her attitude. But I understand why people didn’t come here for lunch, because it just takes forever. When we finally got our food, I was bit a upset. I ordered a lamb gyro and fries and it is fantastic, but because of the time and service, it just leaves a bad taste in your mouth. Then the bill. Again the waitress. She didn’t even ask us if we wanted our bill or came by to check. I raised my hand at the hostess hoping she will help us out and she just stared and smiled… really?! I’m raising my hand for a reason. She finally got the hint when I had to say, can we get our bill. So for a lamb gyro with fries, it’s $ 13, but with a decent tip, it’s $ 17. Bit much with everything overall. If the service was great, I would not be complaining about the price but I do expect good service. Next time, will call 2 – 3 hours ahead for take out.

Fantastic food, great staff, good atmosphere. I have been coming here consistently for the past 10 years. This is one of my favorite lunch spots, the food is excellent and has some great healthy and homemade eats! Try the Avgolemono soup and Pita Melt!

I live in Patchogue and there is simply not that many options when you have a hankerin’ for a tasty dish of feta, lamb, chickpeas or pita. I’ve mostly done take out, but have eaten in once and found the service good, though it was not crowded. Their falafel is forgettable but not completely unsatisfying. My boyfriend usually orders the gyro pitza(which is why we come here-The Old Olive Tree in Patchogue does not). The eggplant spread appetizer was bland and would not order again. Nice location on Main Street though parking might be tricky on a busy night particularly if you are just doing take out. The downside is the price tag, which is steeper than most and why we do not come as often as we would otherwise.

A very nice spot with warm and courteous staff. The food is fantastic and the portions are very nice. I have eaten here 3 – 4 times now and every time reinforces the idea of coming back again. They also do take out but its more fun if you have the time to sit by the window and people watch while you enjoy a nice meal.

The food is pretty good. I had the gyro melt as my entrée and the calamari as an appetizer. The calamari was well cooked. Not really chewy at all. It came a side of mashed potatoes covered in tzatziki sauce and served with some grilled pita bread. It was an interesting combo of ingredients. I hadn’t had it served that way before, but I liked it. My gyro melt was essentially a regular gyro minus the sauce and lettuce covered with melted mozzarella cheese. It was akin almost to a gyro pizza. Good but not great is how I would describe it. Anyway, I think the prices here are a little on the steep side. $ 45(pre-tip) for 2 sandwiches and an app is high. Food and service are above average though.

Good food and good prices! I’ve lived in this area for over 15 years and this is the first time I’ve eaten here. The main reason I’ve kept away is that my husband says the doesn’t like processed lamb. This is the Greek«gyro» type place and not the grilled fish and octopus type Greek food we’ve had in Astoria. With all the great local places available to eat, we just never came here. Finally convinced my husband to stop in for lunch one day and we loved it. The food was good and the lower lunch prices were a bonus. He ordered the Veal Souvlaki and was happy with the chucks of veal cooked to his order, medium rare. It was made much like the gyro with yogurt sauce and vegetables, but the veal was an excellent choice, especially for him. I ordered the Lamb Gyro, taking me back to the years of buying a Gyro in the diners of Queens. That yogurt sauce is delicious and the processed lamb is fine with me in small quantities. Overall, we had two great lunches. We held back ordering the Baklava, which looked delicious! My only complaint was the music. This was the second restaurant I’ve been to recently where the radio was the background sound. The radio with constant DJ chit-chat and pop songs from the 90s, is not what I want to hear while eating lunch. Why not play some nice Greek music or some satellite dinner music? I just don’t think the radio sets a relaxed mood for eating… but that’s just my opinion!
