Highlands Aerial Park

This Zipline was an awesome experience! My friend and I planned on going on the mountain tour but liked it so much we decided to go on the last 4 ziplines as well (and pay the extra $ 40 each). The only criticism I have is that the second part of the tour begins with one really long Zipline and gradually the next three got shorter. So while the 4^th Zipline was really long and cool the next 3 were pretty anticlimactic…

Professional, knowledgable, friendly staff. We did the Brave Indian course with our 7 & 8 year olds. We had a great time, and I felt very safe with the quality and maintenance of the equipment and the training of the staff. We also did the giant swing! Wow!

Leave your fear of heights at home! This was an awesome experience for all of us. We even had our friend’s 75 year old Mother and she had a blast! Don’t miss this adventure.

I will admit that I was incredibly nervous upon arriving. I’d never gone ziplining before and it was truly nerve wrecking waiting there for our tour to start wondering how I would do.
Our guides were so AWESOME that you seriously forgot how afraid you are and just felt super safe.
I only did the short round only because it was truly freezing and the wind was working against my 5’1″ 100 lbs frame.
However, if we had not gone in dead on winter I would do the entire tour of zip lines.
Those guys are great and were so welcoming and comforting!

Awesome experience, went with my 10 year old daughter and guides were fantastic. Make sure you do the whole course the long lines are so much fun and beautiful

Just recently went and had a great time. Did their longest course and had a blast. The instructors explained things very well, making sure we all had our equipment on correctly and knew how to use it. They made our experience fun and helped ease anyones fears, by the end everyone was laughing and enjoying themselves. Its a great experience for preteens upto adults.

For me, the wonderful Canopy Tour was disappointing because of their misguided rule about not allowing guests to use their own GoPro. The guide had one and then they sold you a package for $ 20 which was not customized to my family. I was told it was a safety issue but it appears it’s simply a cash grab. Nantahala Outdoor Center allowed me to video tape on their course. They also said that they didn’t allow it because I would be taping other people and violating their privacy but then they gave me a USB drive with the video and photos of the other folks on the tour.

I am so shocked that this will be the second review of this outstanding establishment. From the minute we walked through the doors we felt we were in for a good time. Being afraid of heights was going to stop me from going my group, but the owner and I spoke and he assured me about how trained the staff is (although he jokingly told us our two guides just started yesterday). He was right. These two guys made our flight through the tree tops magical. Safety was never an issue and even on run #4 (210 feet suspended above a valley with one of the most gorgeous views in Highlands), I felt like the king of the world. If I am in the area again… which I highly anticipate… I will come back and do another canopy tour. Thanks guys! You made it a memorable day and a memorable trip.
