I love to shop at this Grocery Outlet. The staff is friendly and it seems I always get a «Can I help you?» They have a great organic section, a variety of gourmet cheeses, coffee and teas and so much more. Did I mention a great wine selection? I love saving money and getting good quality products.

I want to support Gross Outlet in Scappoose. I’m REALLY having a Hard time!!! I’ve purchased Beer there a few times. 2 of the 3 times the beer was so old when I opened it I had to place the bottle in the sink to let if stop foaming. after it stopped I was left with ½ a beer. This persisted on the second bottle as well. This has happened twice. Now we come to this morning. I poured creamer in my coffee(I’d picked it up to save a trip to Fred Meyer) and find 2 days after I get it I’m drinking Coffee with curdled cream in it! That’s 3 strikes Gross Out! Sorry, I know there are things there that might be ok but for my needs you have FAILED on too many times.

Staff is always very friendly! This is one of the better grocery outlets and I love coming to find little odds and ends for a bargain! A must stop in my Scappoose visits home!

Handy Grocery Outlet when you’re coming down Hwy 30, as it’s quiet, and has most of the random, ever changing fun stuffs you’ll find at their other stores. Each G.O. seems to carry slightly different things, and this is an effect of franchising, but the Scappoose store is a good one. Granted, I’m not up there all that much, but when I am, and I want to just get straight home back in Portland and not fight with additional traffic or driving around town, I stop here. It’s gotten nicer over the years, too.

Saving the residents of Scappoose a «boatload» of moolah! Shop here before going to Fred Meyer down the street. Hey, maybe you won’t need to go to FM at all :).

I always like shopping at the Grocery Outlets — one can get many things at highly reduced prices, and sometimes they are unusual items not readily found elsewhere. Of course, they don’t have everything. They deal in over-runs and surplus items, though they try to keep a reasonable selection of produce, cheese, lunchmeats, frozen and canned foods, etc. stocked. If you like something and its a bargain, then stock up on it — it may not be there next time you come. Got some of the tasty palak paneer here. Overall, though, they seemed to have less of interest than some of the Grocery Outlets. And outrageously, they sold a kind of soymilk which turned out to be sweetened with Splenda. Didn’t think to check for this ’cause I’ve never seen or heard of soymilk with artificial sweetener in it. There was nothing on the front of the carton to indicate that it would have this stuff in it — one had to look at the small print. Can’t really blame G.O. for this, except that they carried this misbegotten product. This is the only G.O. I’ve seen that carries it.(And by now you’ve guessed I’m not a fan of artificial sweeteners…)

I frequent our local Grocery Outlet on an almost daily basis. I really like how this particular outlet seem to get in a lot of home décor and clothing items, once I picked up a brand new pair of cowboy boots in my size for $ 20, normally would have cost $ 140 at the western store. They also have a huge wine section and beer for low prices. Produce, meat, cheese, this place is like a mini –Fred Meyer with WAY better prices.

Stuff sold here is cheaper because it is excess from different stores, the manufacturer’s shipping problems or near expiration date(which you may want to check carefully on refrigerated items). They sell all kinds of non food as well, shampoo, beer, toys… all for low prices that usually beat other grocery stores. Compared to other«Canned Food Grocery Outlet» stores: This location is a good small town location. Better than Chehalis, WA, on par with Bellingham, WA. The whole chain has been getting fewer odd ball gourmet finds and more plain store brands. Nothing wrong with soup from Stop-n-Shop(east coast) but it is not that different from Safeway(west coast). Used to be one could find caviar and such on occasion. Lots of good deals. Just rare to find something really unexpected.
