I have been coming here for years, and I think that it is the best around. I was surprised to see all of the negative reviews! I think the staff here is amazing… They remember me every time I go, and remember who my sisters, mother and grandmother are. Also, when I get a gel manicure here, it literally does not chip. It grows out too long after a few weeks but that is the only reason that I have to get new manicures. Definitely worth the money!

Got a Gel manicure a week ago and it’s already peeling off every nail. Won’t be coming back again. I was rushed through the whole manicure and sloppy job done to my nails. I will make sure no one I knows doesn’t come back ether.

Made an appointment and then ended up being serviced by 3 different women on one manicure.

Poor customer service and expensive. The women there constantly talk in Korean which is insulting. The owner has some attitude as well. This salon is avoidable.

I have been coming here for 15 years and today is the last time. The service lately has been AWFUL. They got rid of my favorite manicurist — one day I came in and was told«she doesn’t work here anymore» no explanation. The staff is now a revolving door of inexperienced nail techs and every time I have been in here recently someone is complaining about their manicure. I came in today for a color gel pedicure and manicure. I get this all the time. I specifically said which color I wanted and Audrey did the pedicure. On top of my pink base color she accidentally put gold sparkles instead of silver, which completely changed the color of the pink under the sparkle. I didn’t notice until it was too late. It didn’t match my nails. The color was completely off. I asked her to please repaint the nails the color I wanted and she refused and stuck the silver sparkles on top of the gold. It looks horrible! I once again asked her to please soak off the polish I did not want and do it again with the color I wanted. The manager Ester came over and said the nails looked fine and«pretty.» They were busy so they just wanted to rush me out even though they messed up the job, they didn’t want to fix it. I left and got in my car and sat there for awhile getting angrier and angrier. Finally I came back inside and demanded that they re-do my toes! Now I have to wait for Audrey to finish the next customer she took instead of doing the job I am paying for correctly. This was her mistake and I am paying for it. Shouldn’t happen! I have been here for three hours. I won’t be back, ever. Don’t waste your time here, I am not the only unhappy customer. Literally every time i am in here there is a customer complaint. Candi’s Nails ruined my day today, good riddance to this place!

My fiancé and I came here for a 12 minute pedicure for $ 17. I don’t know the Unilocal user Yuka, but please see her review. They definitely rushed through our service to get to their regular customers. So disappointed because I’ve been here when it’s dead and had better customer service.

I’ve gone to many salons in the area for nails: Ace, Kelly’s, Classic. Candis nails is by far the worst. The majority of the workers do not pay attention to what they are doing. They dig into your cuticles, cut your cuticles, look away while filing/buffering nails. I asked for a pedicure with callous remover. My pedicure was rushed, I was charged extra for the callous remover, and they didn’t even remove the callous’s completely! They constantly talked about me and my feet while I was in there, in Korean. I will never go back.

Candis Nails felt way too much like a business instead of a nail salon to relax. The interior façade is welcoming but for the most part my experience here was not positive. If you’re not a regular here, do not expect sincere/kind treatment. You’re just another customer they’re rushing to get out the door to attend to another lady. Not the best business model to gain new loyal customers. The Facts: ++$ 22 for gel manicure which is reasonable. The price is clearly stated from outside their store which I respect. –Do not come without an appointment on a Friday afternoon. This place is absolutely packed. My sister and I waited 30 – 45 minutes; by the end I was ready to walk out. The place was packed in comparison to other places in our neighborhood. It seems like normal practice for people to wait this long– no magazines to browse through, no one came up to tell us the wait would soon be over. We really should have left. –One lady that walked in had a complaining fit when the manicurist she booked an appointment with at a specific time couldn’t attend to her since she was working on another lady. When they chose the wrong hue of orange she requested, she complained they weren’t listening to her and threatened to walk out without paying. Nail salons attract drama which is rather uncomfortable to watch and certainly not a customer base I would like to work with. –All the staff talk WAY too much to each other in Korean. There was zero small talk between me and the manicurist(which I have no problem with) but she would have conversations with the staff next to her. This is what I mean when you cannot relax. — – They do not soak your fingers in liquid before pushing back the cuticles, which is customary practice at salons to soften your cuticles. They simply just squeeze some liquid on each finger before proceeding to push them back. It was really painful with the amount of pressure she was putting to push them back. I hurt, but she didn’t say anything and proceeded on. — – When she was cutting off my cuticles, she cut me 2 times and I bled. No apology. Wooow. I sincerely hope their utensils are well sanitized. My sister got cut too. There’s a reason why salon’s don’t cut corners when it comes to soaking people’s cuticles. ++My manicurist gave me a complimentary short massage while waiting for the gel to dry. Upon completion of your manicure, they do a short oil massage on your hands making them pleasant to smell. The bad far outweighs the good. Will not be coming back.

I have been coming to Candis with all the women in my family for years. They are all super sweet and give lots of extra things for free. I always love my mani/pedis and I have gotten my eyebrows waxed there many times, my grandma and mom also go to their hair salon in Hartsdale. Great place and I am very picky about my manicures, gave up on getting them completely until I got a gel one at Candis.

I think this place is a perfectly fine, run of the mill nail salon. Nothing fancy but passable. A little overpriced, but what isn’t in lower Westchester? I had the unfortunate experience of having a technician who was kind of a bitch. She didn’t like the looks of my feet and was openly complaining about it. OK, yeah, my feet were in rough shape, but thats *why I’m here* — no need to embarrass me like that out in the open. If not for her rudeness I would have come back. Too bad.
