Nobody likes to see an oral surgeon, but Dr. Chafitz made it as bearable as possible. Despite a large practice, they are very efficient and well organized and there is not a lot of sitting around. In fact, the opposite — they were quite patient when the painkiller took quite a while to take hold. Dr. Chafitz seems quite skilled and the actual procedure — and recovery — was almost entirely pain free.
The only hiccup was an attempt to make it seem as if it was an «accommodation» to me that they honored my insurance company’s rate when I had exceeded the annual limit. .. it’s not an «accommodation» — it’s the terms under which the insurance company contracts with you.

This office, although a nice location in Scarsdale New York is very skilled at ripping off people! The wisdom teeth extraction for my daughter went well but trying to deal with the incompetent office people for insurance claims purposes was ridiculous. They make you immediately pay upfront for everything, and then it’s been over 90+ days and I have not yet been refunded from this office although they are in network providers. Buyer beware! I’m sure you can get better skills & service elsewhere.
