No b.s., Been here for ever. We ordered a runner and area rug. Pretty easy and straight forward. Ron is big time Yankees fan. You have to be a solid business person to be here for so long. Westchester Carpet just closed down recently. Busy location, park on the street or in the back lot (bring quarters!).

We’ve had mixed results with Cut-​Rite. They are right in the neighborhood so they are nearby which is nice, but the service is only okay. We were happy with the price we got on a remnant to carpet a staircase, but the installers left one hell of us mess all over our house, including scraping up our newly painted walls. The owner didn’t do much in the way of customer service when we brought this to his attention: «Well, I’ve never heard that complaint before». We had other areas where they installed carpet and vinyl flooring. The price seemed high and the product quality was only average — easily matted berber carpet, uneven thresholds with popped-​up nails that we constantly trip on or stub our toes. Argh. I’m pretty sure I’ll drive a little further next time to get better customer service than just going to the guy around the corner.
