Eye Gallery of Scarsdale

Recently went back to the Eye Gallery of Scarsdale. I continue to be impressed with their selection of high end eyewear and sunglasses. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and Dr. Rosen is a true professional. No reason to go anywhere else. I highly recommend both Dr. Rosen and the Eye Gallery of Scarsdale.

I love this place. They always will work with us to make sure we get the best value, and the examinations are thorough. I have an unusual eye condition so I appreciate their care and attentiveness.

A+ selection and service. I live in NYC and was up visiting a friend for the weekend. I forgot my contact lenses and she took me to Eye Gallery where Dr. Rosen was kind enough to give me samples of my lenses for the weekend. While I was there, I found a pair of glasses I had been trying to find for ages, as well as learned about multi-​focal contact lenses which changed my life. Eye Gallery is in my opinion, the only place to go in Westchester and I will be using them for in the future as well.

I was recently referred to the Eye Gallery from a friend who lives in Scarsdale. I was very impressed with their selection of frames and their friendly staff. The exam was thorough and the staff was extremely knowledgeable about their frames. While they have a huge selection of frames to choose from, they patiently helped me find the perfect pair. I would highly recommend this store to anyone in the area.

This place is beyond expensive and their service was terrible. I went in with my prescription looking for a pair of glasses. Although the shop had glasses on display it was hard to try things on. The sales woman was very rude when I started asking prices. It was as if she did not want to help me. I did find a pair of frames that I liked but they were $ 450! I saw the same ones on line when I came home for $ 229.
I think they must be crazy trying to charge so much. At least if they had helpful salespeople it would make some sense.

Eye Gallery has the best selection of glasses and sunglasses that I’ve ever seen! I’ve purchased Chanel Sunglasses and Lafont prescription eye glasses there. I’ve also ordered Biofinity contacts from them and they added a prescription sunglass lens to my SALT aviators.
Everyone who works here is super friendly and has a great sense of humor… plus they know their stuff! It makes a huge difference to have the experts at Eye Gallery helping me pick out just the right frame shape and size for my face. I highly recommend them if you are in Scarsdale or the surrounding area!

Eye Gallery of Scarsdale is Amazing. They have a huge selection of frames & sunglasses for everyone. Their customer service is the best! It’s a very warm & friendly environment. You walk in the store & are immediately greeted with smiles. Everyone who works there is very knowledgeable & willing to really take the time to help. Having a narrow face and wanting to find eyeglasses that I liked, I headed to Eye Gallery of Scarsdale to see what they had (I also live nearby). A young lady, who was delightful, had me try on a dozen or so pairs, none that I liked. Also, when I pointed out that i was trying on eyeglasses that were almost identical to one another and all had the same issues I didn’t like, I was assured that was certainly not the case and I must be mistaken. Ok…
Then comes out a gentleman, who I am assuming is the son of the owners. When I said I was having an issue finding something I liked, instead of stepping in to help, he gave me a monologue about how amazing this store was, that celebrities and the well-​known come from all over to shop at their store and that his poop smells like roses (ok, I added the last part, but honestly, i wouldn’t have surprised if that was said).
Pompous and unhelpful. Humph.
I took a selfie of a pair that I wasn’t sure of and said I would return if I decided to get them.
I did return and tried on the glasses again and it was a no-​go. This time, the young lady and the mother helped me for about 3 minutes. When I did not like the new choices, they literally turned their back on me and helped other customers.
Employees/​owners are rude, service is horrendous, and if you don’t make THEM happy by choosing something quickly you are out-​of-​luck (except of course, if you are the one of the «well-​known» who are said to shop there).
Spend your money where you are valued as a client. Not here.

Eye Gallery is amazing! It’s right in Scarsdale Village, about a block from the train station.
I have been going there for over 20 years now, and keep coming back even though I now live in NJ, because:
1) Their frame selection is really incredible– really stylish, high-​end options that are hard to find elsewhere.
2) Their service is fantastic. They are a family-​owned business, and they treat their customers as if they are part of their family.

Picked up my new shades & they r great! Really happy w entire experience here and would definitely go back to them.
