I came with my niece during her spring break. I was a little worried that we wouldn’t find anything that could hold her attention for very long… BUT! She was so thrilled to find a princess figurine/bank that was painted exactly like Elsa. She picked up a princess figurine, picked her paint colors to match Elsa’s wardrobe, and happily painted away. She really enjoyed walking up to the paint board and picking out her colors, and by the end of the visit she couldn’t have been prouder of her artwork. Meghan was very friendly and willing to help us paint Elsa’s eyes. We can’t wait to come back and pick up her princess!

Dirty place, very limited selection, and pricey. The staff was unhelpful and the whole experience was unpleasant.

This pottery studio is by far the best in the Tri-State Area. Prices of pottery are very reasonable. Staff is knowledgeable I was given a kit to take home and paint on my own with no time limit. I returned it in a week, had it fired in the kiln which took less than a week, and got a beautiful piece of work!

This is a great place to take a kid… or any adult who wants to be a kid for a little while. Also makes a great homemade present for your kids to make for people without trashing your house! Here’s the deal, you walk in, pick out a piece of pottery, and go to town painting it. When you’re done, they take it and put it in a kiln and make it look all pretty and shiny. Unfortunately the last part takes 5 – 7 days, but who cares? It’s still a ton of fun and you end up with some cool pottery that you, or your kid, painted. The staff is super helpful and friendly while you paint, they know what they are doing and will help you with tips, advice, and suggestions the whole time. They will even help you with some of the painting if you feel like you can’t quite get it right. As for what to wear, I wouldn’t wear your nicest outfit, however, the stuff they use is glaze, not real paint, and it washes off ridiculously easy. After your hands are caked in it, you don’t even need soap or a sponge, just rinses right off with water. The prices may seem a little steep for the pieces of pottery, but keep in mind what all it includes: the piece itself, all the paint and equipment you want, helpful staff, the whole kiln process to make it usable and shiny, and best of all… THEYCLEANUPAFTERYOU! **April Underdog Challenge Day 30**
