Dr. Perlman is a little rough around the edges and his office isn’t the greatest(paper thin walls etc see previous reviews) but he definitely knows what he is doing. I always feel better for days after i see him until I do something to strain my muscles and bring the pain back. To the woman who was complaining about the windows facing the busy streets of central avenue… really? Why don’t you take a look at the outside of the building… The windows are 100% tinted you can’t see through from the outside. Perhaps a chiropractor is not the only doctor you need… All in all, Dr. Perlman is a very good doctor, but he needs an updated office.

Doctor Dean Perlman is a very caring professional. I know some people have complained about the staff and the thin walls and the windows but seriously, get over yourselves. If you end up on YouTube, props. You live once or at least you only remember this one time. Some people are so spoiled and entitled that they can’t even appreciate how much good this man does because of superficial things. You’re there to get the best work done to you and for you. I had serious issues for many years to the point where I couldn’t even pick up my right arm with pain shooting through it and not one person I went to knew what to do. I couldn’t sleep, I couldn’t stand. I couldn’t walk. I couldn’t think. Dr. Perlman fixed what no one else could and for that I don’t give one rat’s ass how his staff is. To be honest, no one was ever rude to me because you know why? I was never rude to them. Maybe try leaving your ego at the door and your obnoxious Westchester airs and have some common decency. And I can attest to those things. I lived there for years and had to move because of the bs. Grow up and block it out. I don’t care if I hear other people’s business or if they hear mine. I’m not the Queen of England. I don’t even care about the times I’ve Unilocaled in pain as Dr. Perlman treated me like PlayDoh to fix me. You’re going in to get fixed. Period. If these other extraneous situations bother you, maybe you really should be going to see a dermatologist to find out how to grow thick skin. Affordable and effective but maybe you want exorbitant prices to pay for that red carpet treatment phony crap and want someone to work on you as long as they’ve been working on the FDR. Guess what’s going to happen? You’re going to spend a fortune and never get fixed.

The top 3 reasons for my 2 star rating: Firstly, walking into his office his receptionist is loud & brash. Not friendly or welcoming. Secondly his assistant leads me to a corner treatment room filled with windows(no curtains) overlooking busy Central Ave & a small side street, where she tells me to undress my top & put a gown. REALLY?! Undress on a 2nd floor room with the windows open to a busy street & a side street with cars crawling up the hill next to you? Thirdly, Dr. Perlman’s bedside manner is just plain gruff. He insists on barking impatient orders at patients & his staff. The walls are paper-thin as I was listening to entire conversations going on in other treatment rooms while I was waiting. He knows what he is doing but I would rather go to another chiro who knows what they’re doing and offers a better experience. And although I only promised 3 reasons, the last is that the office calls you to «see how you are doing,» although the call felt like they were hounding me for another appointment.
