Aldi

I think I have a love-​hate relationship with Aldi. Aldi is a typical no-​frills supermarket. They are not large scale like a Jewel or Marianos, but they have a good selection. Overall, their prices are good. Most items are significantly less than the larger stores, but some items can be more expensive so you have to watch out for that.
They have a great selection of prepackaged, fresh meats. Their produce selection is small and the quality was only fair. They have a great selection of dairy products, with prices for milk and eggs much less than the larger chains. They have a large canned foods section, breads and a pretty good selection of Mexican goods. Interestingly, they have a wide selection of electronics, Christmas decorations and candies.
To keep their prices low, they keep only a small staff. Lines at checkout can be long. Also to save money, you have to deposit a quarter to get a cart. (It is returned when you return the cart.) They also do not provide free bags, but offer them for sale at checkout if you don’t bring your own.
It is clean, and you can save a bunch of money there. Just watch the pricing on all items and remember to bring your own bags.

This is not the best aldi I have been in. The best thing about this location is the cashier, everything else is extremely average! Produce is not so fresh most of the time, does not seem to be as much selection as other locations.

Whats not to love about this place… great prices, clean, easy to get to… no shopping carts in the parking lot to hit my car since lazy people never like to place them in the cart coral at Jewel… great prices to be able to feed the herds of teenagers that make there way to my house on a regular bases. Cant not say enough good things about this Aldi… store employees are always friendly and helpful.

Aldi has gone down hill. Their produce is bad. I bought blackberries that had mold once i opened it up. Their lettuce looks terrible, their strawberries molded.
I only go here if I need some quick milk for my kids.

I haven’t been to Aldi much in my life but this was a pretty good experience. The Haribo CocaCola bottle gummies are really cheap here and the BBQ sauce and olive oil are reasonably priced as well. I don’t think I’ll be coming here every week or anything, but its another good option to have.
