I had an office chair that when purchased was supposed to hold up to 1,000 lb. I’m way under 500, but still a big guy, and this chair only lasted 6 months. Thanks to poor manufacturing done in China, and a lack of a warranty past 90 days, this $ 500.00 chair became useless once the metal seat plate mount to the piston broke in half. I was almost about to just throw it out then though maybe it could be welded. My search online found Cervone’s Welding Service. This is a small shop operated in an industrial complex by a really nice man named Mike. I took in this broken office chair base and he immediately knew the problem having fixed these before and said he could have it to me in a day. This was on a Friday so I assumed he meant by Monday given the weekend was upon us but nope, Mike said he would have it done by Saturday at noon. What great service. Came in on Saturday and found a very securely welded office chair mount done right and the way it should have been done by the manufacturer. Seems if you want something welded right, you need an American welder doing it, and Mike is just that American. Myself being disabled, as soon as Mike saw me pull up he came out to my car with the fixed base saving me from having to even come in. All I can say is thank you Mike for such wonderful and kind service. I believe this shop can fix anything that needs welding and is very very fair with it’s pricing. This shop is the definition of a great American Small Business and I hope anyone needing welding done will reach out to Mike at Cervone’s Welding Service and give him your business. Great shop, great people, very fair pricing. Note because he’s a small business, he only accepts cash so leave the plastic at home and bring the good ol’ American dollars(yes, cash still works in America too ;))
