Hertz Car Sales Schaumburg

I was looking for a decent used car for my teenaged son. I wanted something reliable with modern safety features, but without a high price tag. Having bought many used cars over the years, I can honestly say the experience with Hertz Auto Sales in Schaumburg was great. No sales pressure. Thomas was patient and let me have some space to make a decision. Wound up with what appears to be a great car at a reasonable price. I feel like I got a good deal on a good car.

Had a horrible experience at another dealer. They offered a good price on a car, no hassles or pressure. Joe was a pleasure to work with. Even let me go back next day with cashiers check as I didn’t realize they don’t accept debit cards for down payment. Very easy to work with!

After my car became a death trap, I had no choice but to buy a new car. I didn’t have a co-​signer and had to do it on my own. They offered me a decent trade-​in for my horrible, horrible car ($ 300), so that went to the down payment.
Not going to lie, financing was a bit disheartening. 23%. But at 24 with no established credit and no cosigner, I wasn’t getting my hopes up.
I love my car. They give a 12k, 1 year warranty. I’m always bragging about how my little spark has heated seats. And how I can talk through my car on bluetooth or play my songs via spotify without having to ever plug in my phone!
If you’re looking for a car, this is definitely the place to go. Everyone I talked to was super friendly and helpful. I’m sure if I had a greater down payment and a co-​signer I’d have gotten a really great financing rate, but the odds were not in my favor.

We started our car search to get my wife a new car and stopped by to see what Hertz car sales was all about. I had never tried to but a car from a rental company before and was not sure that this was really the route to go. We met with our salesman Doug and gave him a few ideas on what we were looking for in a vehicle and what we could afford. Doug listened to our wants and needs and did not push us into a car we could not afford. We looked at a car and liked it a lot but wanted to look around more before making a decision. We stopped by a few other dealers and took a look but none of the other places offered us as good of a deal nor treated us with as much respect as Doug did. Understanding we had a good deal on our hand we returned with my wife’s car and were given a good trade value and the whole process if getting the new car was very easy. After a little while of filing out paperwork we left with our new car. We both were really happy and appreciate being treated fairly and with respect. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a used car with good prices.
